We’ve skipped ahead a few days in this episode, but we’ll get to those missing days in the next vlog. One thing we learned during our first experience cruising over Thanksgiving and Black Friday is how much work time would be required on limited speed internet, especially on the travel agent side of things when all the deals and price drops are hitting, ha ha. We basically took two days off from vlogging so that Dee could focus on providing great customer service and to let Editing Jay click all those vlog-making buttons!! :P ~Jay
True, I bumped "in the shower" and debarkation morning to the next episode, coming out tomorrow... plus some bits and pieces from the two work days that we wanted to make sure we included, like some specialty dining and whatnot... stay tuned!! :P ~Jay
We sailed Prima 3 months after your Thanksgiving cruise, and they still were not charging for mini golf. That was roughly two months ago... But I hope they don't ever actually charge for it. Our foursome splurged on the pay to play darts & had a blast. The graphics on the monitor reminded us of the silly graphics at bowling alleys. It was fun!
Regarding your mini wrap-up of the Prima, we agree about the poor design for traffic flow through the atrium. Isn't that just silly? Oops, I entered the atrium on the wrong side of deck 8, so now I have to walk all the way around just to get through it on the other side... However, you point out the bar service staff. Your experience was much better than ours. I embark any ship with a wad of singles to tip the bar servers who bring me drinks. I was able to only tip two or three times outside of the casino. It was noticably lacking for our group of four adults. I hope they are able to get their staffing levels up, bc we LOVE Norwegian. Loved the cabin size! Holy cow!Hated having to get our drinks from the bar most of the time. Loved the smoking section in the casino, just wish it were bigger. Hated the lone, tiny outdoor smoking section with zero protection from the weather & accessible only by stairs (there was a chair lift operable only via assistance from staff). The ship is absolutely gorgeous, but I won't sail it again. Lol Back to the smaller ships! Thank you, as always for sharing your adventure with us! 🤘
Y'all really seem to have fun playing mini golf.that one hole seemed really hard!!!!!!!was glad to finally meet you on the celebration we really had a great back to back cruise!!!!!have fun
I'd bet that the photo department designed hole #8. When it's working, it will take your photo every stroke. That's a lot of photo sales. You guys are living your best life. Thanks for sharing. 38 days until Celebration for us.
Of the big cruiselines, I think Norwegian has the best food. The buffets (on ships that have them) are the best in class, and the rest of the food is really good too, both included and upcharge.
Great vlog, as usual. You two have such a great attitude and really seem to enjoy each other and what you are doing. I hope your New Year is marvelous.
I don’t know why but it seems that in recent years Ncl doesn’t have a ton of ship specific merch. I’ve been on some ships and haven’t found anything. We went on the spirit many years ago and got a hat and t shirt but now I never see much of that. I went on allure of the seas and they had multiple t shirts .
Ah, that wasn't us! As far as we've seen, they're planning to have Hudson's on both Prima and Viva, and Katy Perry wouldn't be the godmother of Viva as well. We saw an article at one point stating that the dining room was named after the river in New York, which is also the namesake of one of Frank Del Rio's favorite restaurants in the city. It's an interesting coincidence though if the chandeliers really are supposed to represent fireworks though, hah!! :D ~Jay
We've got NCL Breakaway at the end of January, with Carnival Paradise and Pride side-by-side in March as the start to our year. We'll be making some announcements over our next few livestreams to announce our plans for April through July... whoop whoop!! :D
We've tried playing mini-golf at sea on the top decks of some Carnival ships and it's the wind that really gets you, ha ha... Royal's mini-golf seems to be pretty well-designed and is on the main pool deck a lot of the time. This mini-golf on Prima actually didn't suffer from much wind, which was really nice! We couldn't really feel much in the way of motion from the ocean that day either!! :D
No, as is to be expected. Anything with super fitted harnesses or seats tends to not be friendly to big and/or tall folks, either at sea or on land!! :P ~Jay
It's not something we typically look too much into, unless we happen to be passing the kids club area accidentally and can snag some info, ha ha... we don't normally seek it out specifically, and we didn't gather any intel on Norwegian kids clubs. :P
That mini golf looks terrible. Considering how much deck space it takes up and the fact they were expecting to upcharge you'd think they might have put a lot more thought into making it fun. The word is going to get out on this and no one is going to play it for free, let alone pay.

At the end you say you are ending with "in the shower with Jay" but it's not there. Ooops. ;)

Normally watching somebody else play mini golf is boring but you guys were hilarious

I’m sick as a dog right now but I laughed and laughed at the mini golf hole 8! I can hardly breathe! 😂 And I’m so glad Jay found his sport!

It just dawned on me who Jay reminded me of "FAMILY GUY "!This couple seem happy, energetic and a lot of fun. Keep on doing what you doing!
That mini golf looked pretty tricky! Good job on doing sports!! ❤️
Mini golf hilarious
I appreciate the ship model update Jay. I always wait for you to show them as a collector. Still dont see that they make one for Prima.

For us, Virgin Voyages wins on food, hands down. Norwegian tends to be quite solid overall though!! :D
Jay is definitely me when playing mini golf 😂
Yes we agree for that bathroom door
this is why I always like a nice cabin. I always spend more time in my room than I think I will…
Great vlog, as usual. You two have such a great attitude and really seem to enjoy each other and what you are doing. I hope your New Year is marvelous.
I was just on prima and every port except one got cancel. They said i broken the record how many go karts ride ever done lol
which cruise line is the best for sea day activities like cooking classes and lectures?
When is y’all’s next Norwegian cruise???
Prima in May, heading to Iceland!! :D

Mini golf 8 made me laugh.
I’m sure on previous days you or someone mentioned Hudson’s being named after Katy Perry and that the light fixtures are fireworks.

I hope you have enjoyed the holidays! What cruises are planned for the beginning of '23? (Unless that is confidential...🙃🤐)

@@parodeejay Noice! 😃
How much harder is it to play mini golf at sea than on land? Deas the movement of the ship make a significant difference?

Cost of driving the Go-Karts?
Usually $15 per ride, or they offer deals for daily or cruise-long passes in most cases.
what was the next song from sweet dreams? she sang?
Jay is a good golfer.
1st... #1 fan 😁
So the go-karts are no good for tall or big people?
No, as is to be expected. Anything with super fitted harnesses or seats tends to not be friendly to big and/or tall folks, either at sea or on land!! :P ~Jay
Dee would have been better if she was playing for a bottle of Rum 😀
From what I seen not really handicapped accessible which would be a big nope for me.
I know you don’t have kids but can you give us a little info on ships about the kids clubs.
It's not something we typically look too much into, unless we happen to be passing the kids club area accidentally and can snag some info, ha ha... we don't normally seek it out specifically, and we didn't gather any intel on Norwegian kids clubs. :P
I also wouldn't mind a little info on the kids clubs/activities. We travel with our kids a lot at this point in life.

Other than that blasted 8th hole, we'd play it again... for free, ha ha... :P ~Jay
Can you like mix some clips of yall bickering w eachother every now and then to make it look more realistic?
Give it that classic family vacation feeling, eh?! :P ~Jay
@@parodeejay exactly lol. Just kidding though you guys are great together and i love the vids (:
THIS SUCKS SHIP HAS NO PING PONG TABLE!
