- This is a great light, one that will help you see when tying those tiny flies. They are a pretty good price for what they are, and they can turn any ordinary light into a high powered sun beam!

Lite bulb looks great. It's just what I need thanks
Glad to help! :)
These lights work! Big time. All tiers should have one. Thanks for the information.
No problem, yeah I like them a lot!
Just so you know the light shows great on the camera. Wow bright.
Boy, not as good as in person I’ll tell ya!!!
As always great staff 👍. Really enjoy your videos, keep up the great work. Tight lines
Thanks man
Hi Shawn, thanks for the video. Have you had a chance to do any filming with these lights for fly tying videos? It looks nice and bright, but a little bit orange in the light (warm light) . I've switched my filming lights to led panel lights and some daylight adjusted bulbs. I'd be interested to see how this light looks on a fly tying video. Cheers
I actually prefer not to film with it, its way too bright, and yes the color is yellow. I believe you can get a whiter light. But even so, its just too bright to film. When filming, my fly looks like its an angel, with a diffused glow around it! But I will say, for just tying its amazing! I actually switch my bulbs out from tying vs filming because I prefer to tie on this light. I actually like the yellow tint also, but for filming that doesn't work too well. Just easier on the eyes than the bright white. Somehow its easier, even though its brighter. Much much brighter! HAHA
For tying, I actually bought a bulb for the same lamp from home depot. Its a micro fluorescent (or whatever they call it) and its not even close to as bright as this light, but much brighter than a normal incandescent. And not too bright for filming! HAHA
Got it. I actually have 2 set-ups, one for my regular tying and a second for filming. The cooler LED bulbs are also great because I don't get burned by hot bulbs. lol Cheers
I really am liking your videos could you do a Popper
I meant popper
Funny you ask! I am working on one right now, maybe next month it will be ready. It’s a small one, small enough that it could be used for panfish, but bass will like it also.
McFly Angler Thank you
No problem! Glad you like the vids man! :)
Shawn are those lights available in "natural light?"
Yes I think so... this one I have is more yellow shade, but I think you can get other color shades
McFly Angler the reason I ask is that I tie with a natural light tube. It is easier on the eyes and it shows colours the way they naturally are. Most lamp bulbs will come in natural. You may live another sixty years yet.
