yeah the original Grindhouse blu ray does indeed have both films on 1 disc.. the other disc included is full of additional bonus features.. also the cover insert is double-sided
And it's actually a great looking bluray (upscaled on my LG C2 at least). It's likely going to look so outstanding when it finally comes to 4K. Hopefully the theatrical cut too
You're missing Four Rooms. Technically he directed most of that movie as I believe he directed the wrap around scenes too. You can import it from Via Vision. For whatever reason there's no US release on blu.
Nice collection. I definitely need to beef up my Tarantino collection. I only own Django and Hateful Eight. Definitely going to be getting those 4KS because I absolutely love Kill Bill 1 and 2 and I don’t own them in the collection. I was able to get the Once Upon a time in Hollywood code because you can never go wrong with Margot Robbie in 4K
One of my favorite things about the thicker sets-specifically arrow- is the movie poster that’s included. I don’t need stickers or pop up book packaging. Give me something else to display. A poster!
Nothing about that new Pulp Fiction set appeals to me. I love the steelbook. Happy with that. I hope with Hateful Eight they do a full 100GB disc with a healthy bitrate. It’s such a gorgeous film.
I ordered this new upcoming Arrow release of IB 4K partially because I'm hopeful that it'll have a much better transfer than the version I have. Something about the sharpening feels overdone and off
Not as many people seem to be talking about how the UK version of this has an actual glossy, hard rigid case like an Arrow video style LE with bigger art cards and a thicker slip cover! I ordered the US one thinking they’d be identical but when I got mine in and saw how cheap it was compared to the UK sets I’d seen unboxed I decided to return it. I’m planning to try and order the UK one and attempt to put the steelbook in the slipcover, you can tell the standard 4K case is also much bigger in the UK release so I think it will house the steelbook. I know this is kinda minutia to concern yourself with but I’ve got hard box editions with steelbooks of every Tarantino 4K that’s out there so far and really hoping to keep that aesthetic with all his films if possible. It surprises me quite a bit that Reservoir Dogs, Inglorious Basterds, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood all got really nice hard box editions from third party companies but nobody is doing that with Pulp Fiction which is (in my mind anyways) the essential Tarantino film. It’s not my favorite but it’s the one that solidified him in pop culture as being an auteur. Personally even though I do plan to buy the UK one, it’s definitely still overpriced. I think the slip with the pop up is cool but even with that it should include either the steelbook or a nice booklet with new writing. I personally couldn’t care less about postcards. If this set has been in an actual rigid box, with that slipcover, a booklet and the steelbook it would be completely worth the price but as is it’s about $20 overpriced.
The full version of Grindhouse is the better version. It's the original theatrical "Double Feature," with the fake trailers and commercials in between. Definitely worth seeking out as it makes you feel like you are at a drive in.
I have the slipcover editions of Pulp, Inglourious & Reservoir,..so I won’t double dip on them. But if I didn’t have the 4k slips, I’d be hoping on these editions Kill Bill films are my favs from QT

Actually he was forced to rewrite it because the script had been leaked then posted online. I remember he was so furious he threatened to quit the industry.
If you like Django Unchained, then you'll love the sequel Tarantino wrote, it's a comic with Django and Antonio Banderas' Zorro... hopefully that get made into a movie one day.
I didn't buy the new Pulp set since I already had the steelbook. All my other Tarantino 4ks are steelbooks so I like having them all kind of match. Though I did pre-order the Arrow Inglourious box set even though I have the steelbook, because I'm a sucker for a chunky Arrow box. So yes, there is no consistency to my collecting. 😂 I have the Mr. Brown Reservoir dvd and the original deluxe sets for Pulp and Jackie brown on dvd. I'll probably sell them though once the 4k's come out. I'm trying to get rid of most of my dvds for space reasons. Django and Hateful 8 are the only Tarantinos I don't have on physical media. I'll hold out for a 4ks.
@davidrembert2682 Nope, I'd still get rid of them. I used to be hyper focused on that kind of stuff and wouldn't get rid of anything if even one single special feature was missing from the upgrade. But I realized I rarely watch special features anymore, and the dvd ones I did watch back in the day I only ever watched once and never again. I just don't really care about bonus features that much anymore. I barely have time to watch movies themselves these days. And space is a huge concern now. After 30 years of collecting laserdiscs and dvds and blurays and 4ks, I just don't have the space to be keeping around dvds that I never watch. All I'll keep are ones that are either rare and highly collectible, or films I really like that have never gotten an upgrade.

For instance, the first four saw blu ray was bare bones. I kept my DVDs. Now that the first Saw 4k came out with special features like the DVD, then I gave it away. Yeah the 30th Anniversary edition of Pulp Fiction is a total waste of money, just new packaging and some useless trinkets. It costs 100 bucks here in Australia. The Steelbook collection for Inglorious Basterds is much better..
Big-time money grab from paramount, I had to send my copy back. Flimsy packaging not even close to a arrow release. For the price point, way over priced. Hopefully down the road a boutique label give this film a red carpet treatment.
that Pulp fiction black box is way over priced .....fold out looks nice and I like the idea however u got to be insane to be double dipping just because it has original movie poster as slip cover. Paying all that $$$ for original cover stickers and a foldout ? also interstellar money grab boxset giving people buyers remorse....they need to respect their customers otherwise they won't buy this shiny junk.
