My father was Army Air Corps during WW2 and later Air Force. My older brother was Air Force during the Vietnam era. I was going to be different and join the Navy. Before I actually enlisted, I thought about being on a ship for months at a time with nothing but guys. I joined the Air Force!
Or worse, the Army...
And i say that as an Army veteran whose father in law is a retired Naval officer. The Army /Navy game is a thing round here 😁
My Dad and most of my Uncles are Navy. To a man, they all told me “Join the Air Force.” 🤔
They would have been damn proud.
