A bond between a stepchild and stepparent like this is in my opinion rare ! I had a bond like this with my Marine stepfather . I loved him more then my real father who was still in my life . I never referred to him as my stepfather I would always introduce him as my father . He was in my life for nearly 40 years when cancer took him . He lived in Arizona and I live in California . My mom passed away 10 years earlier and they were married 38 years . I took a leave of absence from my government job to take care of him . That's how dearly I held him in my heart . Looks like your stepmother and you share the same kind of bond .

It's more common than you think. Many step parents fill the void of the bio parent that left and really has nothing to do with the child.

@AwwwhYyyyeah why do you think that some of these comments are just plain awful these videos are heartwarming and you can see the love in the mother's eyes when she finally does see her son she might have not given birth to him but you can tell she truly loves him and misses hi.

If you use common sense he has already been there. It was midnight and she said she just woke up to call him. Meaning he was already there but she was asleep. So he already saw the dog

2:14 It's crazy because it's true, my brother missed like 2 Christmas because he was over seas and it didn't feel the same, and this past Christmas he was able to come back and it felt right again.

Images for my mother but it wasn't Christmas I came home one day from Camp Lejeune North Carolina I walked in the door at 6 and mom was screaming at my brother and my sister standing up on the kitchen table changing a light remember walking in saying damn old woman you can't be quiet for 5 minutes fell off the table in the car before she hit the ground I miss you mama rest in peace me and sister and brother miss you so much rest in peace Mama

@@charlessmith5741 are your son's angry because you were never around? I've never understood the mindset that comes with producing children then spending vast amounts of time away from them. It's the same with working mothers leaving their babies and only interacting with them two hours a day, before bed and getting up in the morning. It seems our governments issue propaganda that the more time you spend away from your young babies and children the better a mother or father you are. This has to stop. We are now breeding children with personality disorders, extreme neediness, and no loyalty because they've never had an anchor to even one person. Bring back the 1950s 😓 family life was intact and babies not put into care of indifferent nursery staff where they grow confused and miss their mothers
Veg Patch I was Active Duty USN and I wanted to support them and being in the USN I was able to do that. She didn’t talk to me, when you have autism life isn’t the same as everyone else. I tried seeing them many ways, no matter what I couldn’t because of her inability to understand WE are the parents not just her. They are part of both of us. When your are forcing one part out all it does is create hate and anger just like my mother did.
