They need greenhouse farming technology and water desalination technology to produce food for the country; importation of farm produce will be more expensive
we do have some greenhouse farming, I'm from Sal island (the driest one on my books) and even there there is some investment in that direction, I don't know if it would ever be possible to make it sustainable enough to make us self sufficient, i'm not an agriculture expert :|... water desalination... I think other islands have some natural water sources but it's not enough for the entire population, therefore water desalination technology isn't a foreign concept to us or something that needs to be introduced to us, it's actually our main source of "fresh" water. I hope this helps but, as I said, I don't know much about agriculture.

Very Informative, very Professional . Peace and bless
I loved it . Thank you.
Are you sure about that second fact?? I don’t remember us having so many goats. I mean, I’m not saying there are no goats in CV, because there are quite a few, but “one of the highest number of goats in the world” is a bit of an overstatement.
😂😂😂 man I was also like'' wtf, where are all these goats coming from and actually staying here in CV ?'' That was too much of a misinformation 😂😂😂
I thought it was weird too. I think he mistaken it with Cape Town,South Africa
You can find most of them here in Maio Island 🏝
Looks very nice, I will visit your country shortly. Greatings from Sweden.
They need greenhouse farming technology and water desalination technology to produce food for the country; importation of farm produce will be more expensive
Great solution.
Btw, have you ever been to any West African country?
we do have some greenhouse farming, I'm from Sal island (the driest one on my books) and even there there is some investment in that direction, I don't know if it would ever be possible to make it sustainable enough to make us self sufficient, i'm not an agriculture expert :|... water desalination... I think other islands have some natural water sources but it's not enough for the entire population, therefore water desalination technology isn't a foreign concept to us or something that needs to be introduced to us, it's actually our main source of "fresh" water. I hope this helps but, as I said, I don't know much about agriculture.
Interesting, Watched from the Uk
Nice country, I am watching from Iran.
Glad you enjoyed the video Farid.
