It’s a complete disgrace and shows what a vile world we live in. People who raise money for charity could be wiped out by the swathes of money in some of these stories.
dude your youtube channel is amazing :) i'd like to see more info on those ensamble rom coms and the contract situations - i heard they're just filler movies to get actors onto their next contract?
Marlon Wayans was supposed to play Robin in the 3rd Burton Batman movie. It went as far as him being fitted for costuming. But the film fell through but he's still got paid for the production.
You know what this seems to say about these stars, is that they can earn loadasmoney for a small amount of screen time or no screen time at all. You did miss out the big payday Jack Nicholson made for Batman 89. Not only did he shrewedly make a profit of the grosses of the first movie. But he also made a deal where he would get paid a percentage of the profits for all the subsequent sequels despite not starring in any of them. That's where he was ahead of the curve (I'm not sure if this counts the Batman films after Batman & Robin). As for the blurred shots the only I was able to recognise was 1984 Nightmare on Elm Street.
Yeah the Jack Nicholson salary is ridiculous. Apparently he was tough to sign on for the role as well and they were gonna sign Robin Williams for the role instead, but it could have been a bluff just to get Nicholson to sign faster. There’s definitely a lot of actors that didn’t make the cut, enough to make a second list in the future hmmmm. Yup that is the movie for the 8th blurred scene, nice job!
Thought I'd try to guess the movies just for fun 1-I dunno looks like traditional Chinese hats and they are building something, or fighting with guns. I'm not super familiar with Marlen Brando's work. Oh, is it Apocalypse Now? I've never seen that. 2-I barely remember the movie, but the aesthetic looks like Zoolander. 3-One of the Mummy movies, probably the third? 4-No idea 5-Julia Roberts in a spy or heist movie? Nothing comes to mind. 6-Must be The Life Aquatic, although I've never seen it, but it has that look Wes Anderson is famous for, and Bill Murray 7-I mean those are obviously Banthas. I think it's a scene that was added in a later cut of Star Wars A new Hope? 8-Probably the most iconic clip of them all and several people already guessed it. Nightmare on Elm Street. Johnny Depp's first role. 9-I cannot remember the name of it, but I think I know what movie it is. That is the little girl who is a super hero and the movie is quite violent. I'll google it...Yay, I guessed it, it's Kick-Ass. 10-No clue for the last one either
1 - Yup correct! Apocalypse Now, part of the iconic Flight of the Valkyries scene 2 - Very close, from a comedy also starring Ben Stiller 3 - Yup it is a mummy movie, The Mummy Returns, as that’s the one with Dwayne Johnson 4 & 5 - Are both from the same movie 6 - Bingo! That’s right, good catch! You should watch it, it’s a fun watch 7 - very close! It’s from Return of the Jedi but yup it’s an added scene in the later cut 8 - Correct! 9 - Correct! 10 - Hint - it’s a newer movie based on Shakespeare
@@FilmStack Thanks for the response! 2, 4, 5, have clicked now. Tropic Thunder and the Oceans movies (they are in more than one). 3, I should have realised it was the 2nd, but the guys in robes kinda look like monks to me when they are blurred. so I thought it might be the Asian one. I should have thought about which movie the Rock was in, but I was too focused on Brendan Fraser. 7 would have been my second guess. 10 Still no clue, but it's bleedingly obvious when I look him up on IMDB lol. Macbeth. I know I technically didn't win, but just in case, I don't have any particular requests for what to make a video about, just keep doing what you are doing. I enjoy most of the stuff you put out. I only did it for the fun of it. If, however, you are looking for topic ideas, something about Easter eggs could be interesting. So could a series about movies that changed the industry. Another interesting theme could be British cinema. Harry Potter and James Bond seem like Hollywood movies, but they are not. Oh, I would totally start that episode with the skiing/skydiving scene from bond with the British flag parachute. ua-cam.com/video/Gvv2lv2s_gM/v-deo.html I was watching a Making Of for The Matrix today and realised something. The reason that Neo has that iconic Nokia phone is almost certainly because it was filmed in Australia. Some of the people interviewed have Aussie accents, including Wardrobe. Nokia was much, much more dominant here than in the USA. Motorola was not nearly as popular here so if the film had been made in USA he probably would have had a Motorola flip phone. Doco is here: ua-cam.com/video/MeV3oWbPmSQ/v-deo.html
What a bunch of hypocrites. We take people who pretend to be fictional characters and place them on top of our fiscal food chain. Pro sports and actors get paid a lot because the payroll is fan based. They're overpaid because we put them in demand. It sounds like success with their career to me. If the fans say they are the best that's how they are paid. We pay more to be entertained than we pay our trusted servants. I.E. Politicians, Clergy, Police, Fire, Medical ETC.

I'm pretty sure the 5th blurred scene is from Ocean's Twelve, the laser dance scene
Yup!
Nightmare on elm street
10; The Tragedy Of Macbeth
You missed Vin Diesel for “I am groot”
To be fair, he record that in every language 😄
Missing Matt Damon who got paid 2.3M to narrate Spirit in 2002. He speaks like 8 lines of narration in the entire film.
He did a great job though, the voice fits perfectly.
Oh man, those cases with the "pay or play" contract were super interesting, especially Denzel's!
I know right! Don’t think the studio was too happy with that one

Thanks for comment! I didn’t know that but that could be a good topic for a future video!

Missed Matthew mconeghey in wolf of Wall Street 😮
binging your vids. great work, bud
Clooney not the greatest actor ever but we all know he's a hell of a guy
farkkkkk i wanna see a Cage vs Carrey superhero movie badddddd
All this unrelated clips from unrelated movies are really irritating and annoying. Why put them in anyway?
Christopher Reeve not Reeves like Keanu
