I have bought oneplus q2 pro 65inch. The blacks are very good for normal movies in netflix, hotstar and other apps. But when I play a dolby vision movie in Netflix or Hotstar, the screen becomes too bright with a default 100 backlight(cannot be edited for dolby vision) and the blacks have almost changed to greyish. Can you please tell me how to reslove this...
Hi... That's because in Dolby Vision picture mode Backlight cannot be changed and Local dimming is set to Low and that can't be changed too. Unfortunately that's how Dolby wants the picture to be. Only partial way to improve is set Gamma to low for slight improvement or use a HDMI streaming device where you can turn off DV and use only HDR10

Hey... Generally 3-5 dead pixels are considered as not faulty for replacement. You can try your luck though for replacement but it's gonna take time, so you would go through that process of panel replacement.
That you cannot remove as OTT apps do not allow changing aspect ratio of the content. The content is shot in wide aspect ratio making it have bars at bottom to fit in the 16:9 screen. Hope this helps.
Hey... I am not sure as I did not use that TV. Generally if it's stock android with minimal tweak by company, then there are very less chances for flesh tone feature.

Hi... You cannot make the videos full screen on those apps as those videos are made in that aspect ratio. Android OTT apps don't allow zooming or changing resolution. It is the same with any Android TV.
Hey, as I mentioned, it's all personal. One likes picture popping out and other like it natural. Keeping 80 would surely make the backgrounds pop out but the skin tones would look weird. It's all balance of the parameters

Nope... Local dimming has control over different sections of display to dim or turn of LEDs to control overall brightness, whereas in global dimming, all the leds are together dimmed to brightened
@@mrjack4041 ha ha... No, it's other way round... Local dimming is better.. you have fine control of dimming only dark regions while keeping bright the same . Where as in global dimming it either totally gets dim or bright

If it's only 3 and not obstructing your viewing experience, then you can avoid going through the pain of replacement if the present one is good in all other aspects. Because amazon also will take time if you ask for replacement, first a technician visit and then wall mount removal. All this will be slightly inconvenient.

@@satishcarbonful1 I think you are using the Netflix remote. It's a complimentary remote provided to users. But the one in box is supposed to be what I mentioned. There's no way you don't have that remote. Seems like someone duped you. Anyway with the remote you have, you can press google assistant button and say "Open Settings" to open settings from any page.

My best may not be your best, but I personally like to use Graphic mode with Auto Color Space and all advanced settings turned off except Adaptive contrast. Hope this helps.

@@iamgauravsharma___ Hey, I couldn't find any info about MI Qled being dled. Q1 yes id eled and there's slight bleeding at bottom due to placement of led there. Check my alexa video on the channel and you will be able to observe that slight bleed at bottom. This won't be visible while watching any movie or series or gaming, so not a big thing to worry about. But you should know that you will be seeing it in app interfaces.

Hey... You cannot do that. Android TVs do not have the option of Zoom in option like you do in old non smart TVs.
