I didn't like it that much tbh. Loved the music but I think 3 was better (the one most think was the worst one). Taggert didn't seem like the same character to me, he was just kind of a dick in the movie. I also didn't care for Kevin Bacons performance, it was more about the script than him though, I'm a fan of his. I think I'm in the minority but I was a little disappointed. Eddie needs to bring back his fantastic laugh as well. I read he stopped doing it because he didn't want it to be his "thing". Eddie is funny af and he would never be known for just his funny laugh imo but it was the choice he made and I wish he hadn't. I didn't hate the movie and I'm glad they made it, just was a little disappointed. Now I'm rambling, sorry. ✌️✝️

+Doug in San Diego Well I should have said underrated as far as black folks go. I never hear any of us give them props or hear them on the classic old school R & B stations where I live, never. I hear more one hit wonders on the radio than I do any of their songs. So my bad definitely not underrated overall.
35 years later, his laugh at 1:08 is still quadruple thumbs up snort worthy! A very much belated "Thank you" to the character Axel Foley. He was one of the gems to make the 80s the absolute best decade in all of recorded history.
I heard this song somewhere in about 2020 and then I heard it AGAIN a bit after that, but not once more. I was just like “what the hell is this song it’s great!” I could only remember the tune of the song and the first line “I don’t want to take it anymore”. I looked desperately for the name of this song for 4 or so years with no luck until this year, 2024, I finally found it! It sounds just as amazing as it did back then.
I am... actually recently found this set of hits.. one plus is Neutron Dance for a quick pick up ..have shown this one to friends .,everyone watches to the end
I’m watching Beverly Hills cops movie now and looked up the song on there. I was a teenager in 80’s and remember this song. I’m so glad that theres a way to watch old movies and songs these days.
One of my biggest regrets in life is never getting to see these talented beautiful ladies in concert. I suppose I could have, but back then I was too stupid to appreciate such wonderful music though I always have loved Slow Hand. It just amazes me how right this song is for the time we're living in, despite it initially being written for the cold war era. Maybe we're not as close to midnight hour now as we were then, but just as the song says, it's hard to say just how some things never change.
There was so much good music around and it was always being played so there wasnt a need to go see it live. You would have to pay me to go see most modern acts.
Eddie Murphy ruled the 80's..love this movie 😊

Brilliant opening scene from one of the best movies of the 80s
I love the Pointer Sisters! They are my favorite group of all time!!!
I'm so happy to say that we are still watching Beverly Hills Cop with Eddie Murphy and we get to hear the song
Who's doin' the Neutron Dance in 2024!!!
All of us since the new movie came out!
Axel Foley
I'm doing the Neutron Dance!
@@samuelgates5935 I'm still doin' the Neutron Dance 💯👌
I am
Such an underrated group of ladies, what a video and song. You cant help but to want to dance to this.
+Doug in San Diego Well I should have said underrated as far as black folks go. I never hear any of us give them props or hear them on the classic old school R & B stations where I live, never. I hear more one hit wonders on the radio than I do any of their songs. So my bad definitely not underrated overall.
The Pointer Sisters underrated??
underrated?...huh?
The Pointer Sisters are the 4th best selling female singing group of all time.
They weren’t underrated in this era. Not underrated by musical historians either. Learn history.
Ruth is still with us, thank Goodness. So are Issa and Sadako.
Thanks for the update Fayt!
When I was a kid my mom would listen to this song every time when she works out.
Damn. Still an absolute banger.
35 years later, his laugh at 1:08 is still quadruple thumbs up snort worthy!
A very much belated "Thank you" to the character Axel Foley. He was one of the gems to make the 80s the absolute best decade in all of recorded history.
love the energy of this music
I'm glad they still used this song in the latest movie.
Even after all these years, this is still one of my most favorite songs. It is fun music when music was fun.
My most favorite song by the Pointer Sisters!!! Ruth's voice was on fire in the song!!! They took me to church in this song!!!
Ruth,June and Anita
I am... actually recently found this set of hits.. one plus is Neutron Dance for a quick pick up ..have shown this one to friends .,everyone watches to the end
Happy times, happy music, happy people. Gone forever,😭
I’m watching Beverly Hills cops movie now and looked up the song on there. I was a teenager in 80’s and remember this song. I’m so glad that theres a way to watch old movies and songs these days.
This soundtrack was such a great part of a great movie.
Pointer Sisters still rock.
Yes, I had it on cassette tape! (Yep, I'm old, lol!) One of my fave albums!
Y'all just don't know how much the pointer sisters song take me back to my childhood....love it!!!
RIP Anita Pointer. A magnificent singer
Best 80's movie, best song on the soundtrack!
Amazing!!!!!!!!!! Oh, glorious 80s, how much I miss you!
YESSSSS
I miss the 80's too. That was when "hair was big, gas prices were low, and Michael Jackson's second nose " These lines are from the 80's show.
Never gets old, glad that Ruth had leads on this one,I like to watch her, she looks like a woman you simply don't mess with.
She's slightly over six feet tall and she's wearing spike heels in this video. No, you would not want to mess with her...
Read her book. You're right. She was not to be messed with.
Ruth is a man you don’t want to mess with. He’s a drag Queen!
The kids today don't know what they're missing. A fun life was taken from them.
Rest well Anita. 1948-2022
