Got a pair along with an SVS PB-2000 Pro, to add some extra punch to the low end. I could not be happier lol. Every single time I crank a song up, I can’t help but to smile 😊
Thats the goal right!
Huge Klipsch fan and once I saw these speakers I fell in love. Absolutely beautiful in the oak finish. Can hardly wait to get them,Great video thanks.
Thanks for the feedback! Did you pick them up from walts?!
@@WaltsTV No I live on Vancouver Island in Canada.
I have a pair of Klipsch Heresy Heritage IV, a pair of nines in Oak, a Klipsch Subwoofer and a Klipsch Sound Bar. A Pioneer Elite vsx-lx105, nad integrated amp, nad cd player and a nad tuner. I can't wait to get it put together and enjoy music again.
now thats cool!
Great video, man! You nailed it when you said wanting good quality stereo over faux surround sound. I am seriously thinking about replacing my Sony HT-ST5000 sound bar with a pair of these and a Klipsh subwoofer. Thoughts?
Go for it! These are going to sound amazing either way.
I currently own a pair of the fives how much of an upgrade are the nines in terms of power and sound quality?
A lot more powerful and a lot more bass.
If you have a 5.1 system like the Jamo concert series c97 (or any 5.1 soundbar setup) versus something like the nines, what would be the better sounding experience for movies?
that's tough. The nines are a stereo pair so the surround sound wont be incredibly realistic. I usually recommend these for people who watch alot of sports and listen to music. They sound amazing but again 2 channel might not be the best for everyone.
Isn’t it asking a lot for a speaker to accurately cover a broad frequency range with an 8 inch and a 1 inch?
yeah but these are the Klipsch nines....
Can you stream wirelessly through wifi?
No, your best option is to use an auxiliary cord!
What are your suggestions for connecting a CD player to the Nines ??? 🤔🤔🤔
my answer is ____ . hooking them straight to the speakers shouldn't be an issue if your using optical but Im guessing more for stereo and not like movies right?>
@@WaltsTV Thank you for your answer and for your attention !!! 👍
I’m waiting for a Klipsch Heritage Forte V with built in amps.
I dont think they will do that, only because their heritage line is exclusive and they want to keep it that way.
I don’t think much at all, mostly dreams.
Can you connect them to a HT with pre-outs?
sorry what do you mean HT
@@WaltsTV sorry it means Home Theater receiver, I want to use the Nines as left and right front speakers. My receiver has pre-outs but how to connect to the Nines?
The Sixes onboard amplifier had background buzz, do these suffer from same low quality amplifier? thanks
The amplifier like the fives is a complete redesign they definitely stepped it up and the background buzz is only there if you stick your ears right up to them its very minimal and the sixes are 24bit 96khz and the nines have 24bit 192khz
excellent question, definitely one thing that irritates me about my sixes.
Sixes? Im pretty sure they only had the fives up until now. Now its the Fives, Sevens, and Nines. And to that not that I know of.
@@beau6113 amplifier from the sixes is total garbage, klipsch is using the lowest quality electronics, thats why i worry about higher iterations of these speaker.if i check the amplifier, in sure i will find lowest quality chinese capacitors all around.therefore i think rp600m2 + good amp is always a better choice
@@fluxcapacitor3273 has forever been the case with Klipsch and sub-par amps: I’ve owned the Promedia 4.1, 5.1, 5.1 Ultra and they all had issues.
These or a soundbar ?
depends, these will give you stero so very good for music. If you want a more realistic surround sound then you would go with a soundbar.
For the price of Klipsch The Nines, you can get Kali LP-8v2 monitors + Monoprice Monolith THX 12' Ultra subwoofer + Topping E50 DAC, that would give you a much better sound quality.
The grass is not always greener on the other side. Every product is unique and its up to the consumer to decide what's important to them. This all in one unit is great in my opinion!
NEVER call woofers in a speaker system "subwoofers" because they aren't, they are woofers that do not produce subwoofer frequencies. Also, they can indeed be used as pass through from a receiver using analogue outputs but it defeats the purpose of having the receiver. I have one pair of "The Sixes", one pair of "The Fives", one pair of "The Fives McLaren Edition" and a pair of "The Nines" still in the box waiting to be opened up.
Wow - you are indeed a Klipsch Head! I have the Fives and have been astonished and delighted by their sound every day for the past two years. I'm a huge Klipsch fan now. Getting close to getting the Sevens.
@@timd7782 - You'll love them as well. My only concern is long term.
Hey there! Have you played with the Nines yet? How do they sound compared to the Sixes?
@@Ayatollah123 - They sound incredible and the bass when set correctly is incredible. The Sixes sound very good and if you never upgrade you'll be fine but the Severin's and Nines are in a whole other realm. With great recordings they go from incredible to utterly fantastic.
@KlipschHead281 Thanks for the response! Since you said that the Nines are great, I'm going to get them for sure. I have a 75-inch Vizio TV and a Klipsch SPL 150 Subwoofer. So, everything will look and sound better.
Why would you use these with TV? Without a center channel you're going to muddy the L/R separation of the soundstage with voice.
If you place them so they aren't right up against the wall and give them at least 6 feet apart the center imaging is amazing and voices come through very well
What he said ^ Like I said in the video there have been alot of customers I have showed the fives too and they really liked the sound over the sound bars.
I would never use this for tv as it's only two channels. Don't know why Klipsch include hdmi arc in these.
Imo this is for music
@@gregrichard9192 its far more affordable than a surround system and its sound quality is unmatched at the price and you can easily achieve a 3D sound stage when the speakers are placed correctly which makes movies sound fantastic. Definitely a personal preference but these are definitely good for movies and TV some people will just prefer something different its nice that people can have the option
That's factually inaccurate. The voices are crystal clear, and what you get with these that you'll never get with a soundbar is great separation.
Are there only pros and zero cons? Or, is this one big con...
Only con is that when you get them you will never want anything else!
Is this a review or a paid advertisement?
believe it or not just a review, I loved the fives so much I have been waiting for something that is the same but just a punch bigger, and they deliver!
Over priced
Have you gotten the chance to hear them? Once you have maybe you will change your mind. :)
If they scale up proportionately to The Fives, they’re worth every penny. The Fives punch way above their weight.
@@Sloimer yes yes and YES!
"Overpriced" is one word.
If they 1. Sound good, 2. Are reliable (especially the electronics) then these could be a great price. An HDMI cord covers your TV sound. A WiiM Pro at $150 covers your music streaming. Or run your laptop (or phone) through a cheap DAC (wired or Bluetooth) and play music that way. No preamp, no amp, no receiver needed.
