You can see the energy pick up as soon as she steps out, smiles of encouragment. The raw emotion, support and love in the room brings me to tears every time 💖
Please dont ever delete this video. Been coming back to this for years whenever i needed a moment of bravery and when people have let me down. Love love love this song will stay in my heart forever
Oh I love that! I always thought he was just having a blast, but I bet it felt so good to have his music being performed so powerfully by himself and the singers!
ABSOLUTELY... every time i watch this (usually every few months.. then 100x in one day :D ) he lights it up. a bummer this couldn't be captured for the soundtrack it is soooo much more invigorating and has so much more feeling than the official one.
It pops because the actor/singer in the movie they picke dof rthat part can't even shine his shoes. It's sad. I understand wanting a small person to play the role, but he can't sing at all. Or at least not at the level of the other singers. Another movie died at the hands of executives.
By the way, the women with the curly hair wearing the scarf is Loren Allred. She provides the singing voice for Jenny Lind on Never Enough. She is spectacular!!!!!!!
Never in a million years will we ever see people be so enthusiastic about singing and filming a movie like these people ever again. We can really tell how special this movie is just based on that.
No joke, I've watched this video dozens of times, and each time it feels just as powerful as the first time. It makes me feel so empowered, which is why I keep coming back. Tears and all.
I feel like she finally decided to OWN IT... When she decided to step out from the music stand. She admits she liked being in the background... but she OWNED IT HERE... you're right! It was hugely empowering... and She TOOK IT! I'm SO GLAD she DID! I also return to this video time and again to watch her do that. She is AMAZING!
Could you just imagine, after all the hardships one goes through in life, and singing at the top of your lungs together in a room full of people “and I know that I deserve your love, there’s nothing I’m not worthy of”, just how liberating that must be? It gets me every time
3:05 the woman standing up is SO into it, and I remember her from when I first watched this years ago. She's always stood out to me. Now I know that's Cynthia Erivo, and we'll all get to see her in Wicked as Elphaba next month! I'm so excited!
AMAZING! This is so sweet, the cast was so encouraging. Her voice is amazing! I’m sooo glad she got the role. EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THIS FILM IS AMAZING!
Anytime I feel like I'm an emotional wreck and I just need to cry, I come to this video and it never fails me as it is so beautiful I can't stop crying
As long as there is song and theater and art, we will be ok. No matter how dark this world may be. Believe in the song. And the greatness of art. It can never be suppressed and it will always be free.
This is exactly how I feel, I love the theatre I go a few times a year, there’s just something about the energy of the live music that makes me so happy . I thank each and every person who pumps their energy into theatre 😊
I’m 36 years old. Sitting here crying on the couch. I had seen a similar video on TikTok. It too brought me to tears. Music. Wow. This is intense. This is beautiful. See everyone not just singing but BEING those words. FEELING those words. It was so passionate and I feel like this comment does give this video enough credit and respect. BRAVO!!! Love you all!
This does something to my soul that I can’t explain, it’s just been playing in the car so I had to come home and watch this once again. Absolutely amazing 😊
This is arguably my favourite clip like this ever. Keala and Hugh at the end...you see the raw emotion. That power cannot be faked! Mind blowing and its amazing! Lets enjoy it again. Rewind.
I can feel her through this song because it resignates with me so deeply. I’m am listening in 2024 and still in tears. This song will touch anyone who ever felt like an outcast. Truth is though we are all amazing because of the God who made us! So glad I am learning self love through him. 🩷 If you are reading this, you are loved and you are enough!
When the emotions are real and honest is floods true. This even hits my limited by autism feelings. Only found this yesterday absolutely beautiful to hear and see thanks for sharing
I wish they wouldn't have cut it off so soon. I would have loved to seen the reaction afterword. I would like to see what happened after.. that's worth at least 5 minutes of reaction time.
I love this version better than the movie/soundtrack version. This just has so much raw emotion and passion!!! The soundtrack version feels like there’s layers missing from it
The moment when Keala sings "And I know that I deservew your love" gets me everytime...and them BAM! The moment when she had to grab Hugh's hand...I need to resupply on tissues. :''') This song literally saved my life! It came at the right time to teach me to be myself and love myself. Thank you...thank you for this movie...thank you for this song.
I get anxiety...often. I have to listen to this and take it to heart. I'm the one attacking myself. But, I AM BRAVE, I AM FREE, I AM WHO I'M MEANT TO BE! THIS IS ME!
True!! He's amazing, honestly. I've sang with pianists before. And if they're not very professional, they often don't seem to get the fact that the singer is actually the quote unquote "director"; this man gets it, and that is quite clear. Now, don't get me wrong: I know that he must be professional, but I just loved seeing how he basically followed Kaela and went along with her and continued to do so even as the other accompanists joined in; that is the mark of an excellent accompanist. And of course, like someone else mentioned in this thread, he is really into it as well.
He’s Justin Paul. One of the two composers/songwriters of this song. The success or failure of that session would’ve had significant consequences for him.
Just here doing my monthly viewing/cry session. Anyone else? lol
I come back and watch every few months, so I think this is about number 20 or so for me 😬
Me ❤
Here for my timely emotional cry
So true! I always come back here!
The pipeline of watching Deadpool and Wolverine to reigniting you Greatest Showman obsession is very real
2024, who’s still coming back to watch this and ugly cry? 😭 This gets me every time 😭 So many emotions 🫶🏽
Me😂
✋🏾😭
😓😁😉
me
💯💯💯
This is even more emotional than the actual movie
Awesome
True dat
yeah true
Agreed
True i'm falling in tears
4:08 when Hugh just had his breath taken hard not to get emotional at that part
For REAL like that moment embodies everyone watching this. Love it.
It was in that moment he knew the movie would get the green light.
You can see the energy pick up as soon as she steps out, smiles of encouragment. The raw emotion, support and love in the room brings me to tears every time 💖
every time!!😭😭😭
Every time
Please dont ever delete this video. Been coming back to this for years whenever i needed a moment of bravery and when people have let me down. Love love love this song will stay in my heart forever
Download it, just in case. And when its taken down, you can put it up.
Same ❤
Amen!!!
They way Hugh say “Uhg” after they held hands!!! He was going to burst into tears and had to get up and dance.
It was when he saw the truth that the spoke about herself while singing these lyrics
Keala, you sing for so many of us who have not yet found our own voices. You are glorious.
Trouff.
Idk why i torture my self always coming back this video when I know I'll start bawling for no reason!! 😭
Not no reason, that's why. 😘😜
There is a reason
The piano player wrote this song. I always like rewatching and seeing his reaction ❤️
I did not know that! I did notice his enthusiasm for the music, but that brings it to a whole new level, I need to watch this again!
@@rosebrunais1314 When I found out, it made this video even better, too!

Hugh is crying.......😭😭😭
ㅠㅠ 저도 휴지에다 울고있어요 ...ㅠㅠ
🥺💜ik😭
She broke the Wolverine. That takes skill.
Heck I’m still crying
I'm not crying you are! 😢
This what real music is like. You have the courage to come out and show what you can do and go all out. Love this song so much.
Respect to homie at 2:19. He got an extra 300% out of everyone, then Kaela shot it up even further.
I know! Who is he?
@@jbasma Randomly bumped into my comment and just seen your reply. It’s a guy called Ben Thompson, one of the other commenters found him.

@@lindseymakes5364 Definitely. He's bloody great.
Nothing beats the energy and emotion of this version of the song
By the way, the women with the curly hair wearing the scarf is Loren Allred. She provides the singing voice for Jenny Lind on Never Enough. She is spectacular!!!!!!!
It's not her
Looks an awful lot like her face. If it isn’t, who is it?
Wow! Yes she is amazing!

This girl can sing like she is a star the best girl I have heard sing she should be proud of herself an angel is what she is 😇

Love love love the energy in that room. It all means something to everyone in there and that’s why they’re putting their entire hearts into each word
because they're artists..and most of them can 120% identify with the lyrics...basically, it is their story as well.
Could you just imagine, after all the hardships one goes through in life, and singing at the top of your lungs together in a room full of people “and I know that I deserve your love, there’s nothing I’m not worthy of”, just how liberating that must be? It gets me every time
The way she becomes more confident, then suddenly... Just... Comes alive. It's absolutely beautiful ❤️
The whole time i got goosebumps and now my eyes can't stop sweating😭
4:01 the more stories I hear about hugh jackman behind the scenes... the more I realise he is such a lovely human being
Amen.
Stories such as?
Does it piss anyone else off that it ends way to soon. I want to see their reaction of being apart of such a powerful moment.
You can see how much action
goes on in that room.
This will forever and always be my favorite version of this song. It brings me to tears every time
I always come back to watch this! Keala took us all to church
Music is about honesty and believing what the song is about. And goddamn she so believes. There is not lying in her voice. She’s awesome
I wish they would play the room after the song ended!
The HAIR FLIP WAS FLAWLESS 4:40
you maybe mean 2:33 but yeah! FLAWLESS is the word, cause not only got style, also LOTS of emotion
3:05 the woman standing up is SO into it, and I remember her from when I first watched this years ago. She's always stood out to me.
Now I know that's Cynthia Erivo, and we'll all get to see her in Wicked as Elphaba next month! I'm so excited!
Omg I came back to this video because I thought she looked soooo familiar!!
"Trust Me. They dont know it yet, but they're going to Love You.."
진짜엄청나게 대단하고 멋지고 아름다운곡이였습니다.
영원히행복하셨으면 좋겠습니다.
화이팅!
Love how Hugh just took her hand and held onto it and was so supportive. This is what music is all about. ❤❤
This song still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. Leala's voice is so powerful and moving.
When Hugh does his little emotional gasp. That's when I REALLY start sobbing. 😂
100%!!!
Right there with you ❤

Wow! I've seen this movie 3 times, but THIS! THIS made me cry!!! The raw truth and emotion in this room!! She singing HER truth!! 😭😭😭
They cut the best part, where's the applause from the cast afterwards? That would have been awesome to watch as well.
when im struggling I literally watch this on repeat. thank you
beautifull how the singer in the pink shirt carry's her through, and the other singers too ❤
I can't sing but those background singers make me wish I was there, they're having SO much fun!!
