The War Memorial of Korea: Exhibition of Large Military Equipment - 4K 60 fps UHD

The War Memorial of Korea is a museum located in Yongsan-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It opened in 1994 on the former site of the army headquarters to exhibit and memorialise the military history of Korea.
The museum documents the history of the Korean War using multimedia exhibits, black-and-white documentary footage, and artifacts such as weapons, uniforms, maps and even vehicles.
On June 25, 1950, the war began with North Korea's surprise invasion of the South. The ROK Armed Forces introduced weapons and got its acts together to stop the North Korean offensive. This exhibition room shows large equipment, such as major combat weapons and aircraft of South and North Koreas in the 1950s.
The exhibition of large military equipment shows many of the vehicles used during the war.
To name a few, the visitors can see the tanks M4A3E8 Sherman, T-34-85, M36 Self-propelled Anti-tank gun and LVT-3C Landing Vehicle or planes F-51D Mustang and F-86 Sabre.

The outdoor exhibition also showcases a large number of other vehicles, guns and planes dating from World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Visitors are often allowed to enter these vehicles.
