They were lucky they got to go to the top of Billy Penn. I’m from the area and I’ve never even been up there: City Hall's observation deck is located directly below the base of the statue, about 500 ft (150 m) above street level. Once enclosed with chain-link fencing, the observation deck is now enclosed by glass. It is reached in a 6-person elevator whose glass panels allow visitors to see the interior of the iron superstructure that caps the tower and supports the statuary and clocks. Stairs within the tower are only used for emergency exit.
Yes it was a real tv show I watched it every week It was on wcix channel 6 In Florida that was in the late 1979 Robert Hayes Buys Angie the liberty Coffee shop
Great sitcom funny, classic, true tv back in the late 70s I was 13 loved to watch this as I was in junior high. Love it more now 41 yrs later... Wish Brad Benson's existed or Hector!!!
I was 13 also when I saw it and fell in love with it, but that was reruns in 1988. At 13 I was already nostalgic for a time I barely had any memory of. Watching it today for the first time in over 30 years!
Angie Starring Donna Pescow Robert Hays Sharon Spelman Debralee Scott and Doris Roberts as Theresa Falco Executive Producer LEONARA THUNA Supervising Producers Thomas Miller Edward Milkis Robert Boyett
Like this show wish it could stay on longer, donna had the best smile ever.
Ironically, I said the same thing just today on another post. Have a great day!

Doesn't matter how old you were.
When the 70s came to us and we had to use a pair of pliers to change the channel if we lost the knob.

The boy is played by Meeno Peluce...

half brother
This was right before he did Voyagers (I think) it's been so long, LOL
ElJefeNLA , yes you are right. Voyagers debuted in 1982, this episode of Angie aired in 1980
He also appeared on The Bad News Bears (1979-80) as Tanner, and on Best of the West (1981-82) as Daniel.
His co-star from that show died too.

I remember loving this show, but HATING this episode! Brad was way out of line undermining the uncle's authority.
same looking intro as full house family matters and perfect strangers.
It was produced by the same people, Miller and Boyett.
