Sweet Duster!! I wish they made bigger tube headers for the Dodge trucks. I think Mine needs more air and less torque for those high RPM blasts getting out of bad holes.
I'm currently building a 1990 dodge ramcharger with a 1972 440 backed by a 727 and divorced np205 on 40s (44s when i get the funds). Great looking and running truck brotha. What trans and tcase is in that monster?
i like the little details like the diamond plate where the A/C was and the diamond plate along the fender what is the truck dynoed at or what ya think she got really interested in the torque numbers

I just bought a 1983 RC for $1,800 cash. Everything works. I am 4th owner. Its so rust free its from A-Z. So well taken care of the owners manual was still in the glove box. Turbine wheels, new BFG's, 4" lift, new charging system. The floor liner is still intact. Now lets all put our brains to work here. I paid $1,800 for a barn find, grandpa driven truck. What does the cheapest new car cost? I wonder what new car money can turn an old machine into. Been playing this for years and this is what I have owned in my life. 1956 Ford F-100 (family truck) 1966 Plymouth Barracuda (273/4speed) its in Australia now. (went down on me) 1968 Dodge Coronet 440 2 door coup ( my mistress) 1974 Dodge Colt Station Wagon (wish I still had it) *1983 Dodge RC (got it today) Its my dream truck in life. 1984 Audi Quattro GT5E (when I was in Germany) 2000 Harley Davidson Dyna (my hooker for free bike rides) 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Hemi W/5speed NV4500 4.10's. (bought it after Iraq in 04) 2006 Nissan X-Terra SE (dumb car I bought for the woman who kidnapped my child) I like the Mopar big blocks. Mine would have to be a 400 with a 383 crank and 906 heads. Or of course a 440. Fucking sling mud with that goat.
@@jakesmithsonian388 5K at drive train, 5 K at the engine, 5 K into the body and electrical, 5 K at paint plus odds and ends. Now find me something brand new for 20 K. That would be able to keep up. We get tons more personality and have more fun driving our RC's. Than a 20K new car off the lot.
@@jakesmithsonian388 New trucks are junk. Get em wet and their computers will crash. Newest thing I own is my 04 Ram 2500 that I custom ordered. It is delete of everything power except brakes and steering. Doesn't even have carpet. But, I did get a Hemi with a NV4500 and 4x4. So its not too bad. That replaced my 73 W200 Powerwagon 360 4 speed. I love turning gasoline and gunpowder into noise.

Yup, I bought my '85 for 2k and have put 10-12k into it so far. Still better than a new, boring pickup. Way more personality too
