- ***This video was taken while the truck was still under construction***440 with 671 blower, dynoed 680 horse@ 6600 RPM. We decided to test out my transmission , the first run I think I accidently bumped it to neutral, second run was clean all the way through 3rd gear. Good thing I dont plan to shift in the mud anyway, its just nice to know things are working properly! I need to upgrade to 70 shafts in the front before I lock it! Heres a couple links to the videos of this in the mud: • Blown mud truck test r... and • Blown mudtruck, mud truck
- Авто та транспорт
you dont need to lie and say this was a "transmission test" you can just say you wanted to do a 4 wheel burnout. most people watching will understand
This is the kind of thing I used to imagine when I was 10! It just made me giggle like I was 10 all over again! Thanks for posting :)
I am not a dodge fan by any means, but DAMN. That was pretty badass...
Legit 4 wheel burnout!! well done sir!
That's strange, I could have sworn there was some tread on those tires just a minute ago. :) Sounds mean and clean dude. Good job. I'd love to see it finished.
Thanks for the info! It runs on pump gas and was built as a street motor!
We work hard, and play hard!
best burnout video on youtube period.
Enjoyed every minute of this vid fellas, Thanx for the upload.
the way it looks has its own charm rickety charm. old school looking. if it was at normal height, with the same engine, and someone wanted to race, they wouldn't know any better
I respect it, not just because its a good mud truck, but because it is a DODGE!
I'm a ford fan but that's a badass truck! thumbs up for the beast under the hood!
that was sick! i have to show my buddy (the dodge guy out of us) hopefully it will inspire him to get his junk built.
one of the most epic veicles ive ever seen.
badass truck. sounds really healthy. I got an 87 ram with just a 360 in it right now. She will have a stout 6.0 in her this summer
motor sounds sweet!!
I hear ya, I just get a kick outta these assholes! We fire down a couple beers and decide to do a burnout spur of the moment, now every Einstein on youtube is analizing it! Cracks me up!
Great job on the build , the engine and transmission must be built right , I want to see it in the mudd . I'm building a truck for the mud right now to , I'm just on here getting motivated .
its dripping AWESOMENESS! leaving a puddle of BADASS behind.
now this truck deserves the name POWERWAGON!!!awsome man!!
Let me hear you SCREAM!!!! I finally found meaning to that Ozzy song haha
440's make awesome power but man mopars are the most expensive thing to build let alone upgrade unless you have a bunch of parts laying around. Motor sounds awesome
@priority44 It's possible I had a few beers when I posted that...you're so smart, thank you for the correction!
@ryan112976 by definition, a "blower" is belt driven and is therefore always on unless you have it on a switch. a "turbo" is powered by exhaust pressure and is therefore responsive to the engines power output.
awe-full Brave putting that nice car behind the Truck ..... would love to see some videos of it in the mudd.....
that truck sounds great!
Sweet sounding motor!
It sounds totally bad ass. Keep me updated.
love your truck bro!!
That 440 sounds so bad ass. What crank and cam are you running? Also what pistons and estimated compression please. Cant wait to see more vids
listern to the angry growl of that big american v8! i love it mate cheers
@honchoryanc yup. blown is a term people use when they have a supercharger. sometimes people with a turbo say the same thing.
44s are just fine!
I LOVE THE SHADE OF YOUR NECK
You ever think of going with a posy for mudding so all four tires help out because if not the tires that don't spin are just dead weight and cause more friction in the mud so its easier to get stuck.
coolest vid on youtube
Beautiful Truck !!!!!
Flippin Sweet!! Nice my man.
Epic video dude.
Quite possibly the only one on UA-cam. I'd highly recommend a title change.
all i gotta say man is THAT TRUCK IS BEAST!!!!!!!
@NathansBackwoods, it sometimes stalls if I go from WOT to nothing too fast.
@BaracoBoy A blower only boosts when it needs to, otherwise it's running at zero or even a small amount of vacuum at idle or cruising speed. As soon as you need power and get on the bitch the boost jumps up, this motor typically runs up to about 10lbs
Be kinda cool if you could like a quick release chain or something so when you get them all 4 at top speed you can let loose and see how far you could leave awesome looking black marks.
damn that sounds awesome!!
@wlpmilkyway 205 t case and 60 front with 70 shafts
sick truck, love it.
Damn tree didnt budge...lol. Cool video!
great video!
"you're drippin somthing Brian, what are you drippin?" I could be so dirty, cos this was so badass.
i liked for the burnout and engine, i hope this thing gets a decent painjob.
gotta love the four tire fire!
sweet sounding truck. why the open front dif tho?
You guy would be surprised how little I have into this engine, I've been building 440s for 15 years and collecting lots of parts along the way!
Those tires were 38's before he started doing this stuff.... Nice Truck there.
sounds good man!
727, with all the best parts!
@shnrbtlle18 Your very welcome!
As long as beer was involved in the making of this video than everything is ok
That is an awesome truck
ah thats what my old j10 has in it, good thing i didnt scrap it like i was plannin cuz now it sounds like im gona be doin some parts swapin
and waht size stall u got i believe i have a 3000 in the jeep
@schuldinersklokateer, it was just water coming out of the overflow on my rear radiator.
That is a bad ass truck.
Beautiful. Real nice smokeshow
horsepower + torque! cubic inches!
Blown BIG Block, spinning all four tires!!!! GOD BLESS ya . awesome.
@cwilczewski23 I built this engine myself, most of the time it's at zero boost, unless your working it.
great video
dodges are so sick. I own a half a dozen, proudly parked between my chevs
Nice ride Man !!! Love old Mopars... I bet that cloud of smoke killed a lot of birds! Lol...
Nuttier than a porta poty at a peanut festival
Beauty in every way
I'm going to try that with my Suzuki Samurai (LOL) sounded good
@BikeRider2299 All 4 wheel drive vehicles only spin 1 in the front unless it has a locker,
4wd burnout pretty cool !!
JMCustomcars
@080ollie Its impossible to do a 4wd burnout unless something is stopping the truck from moving forward.....
sounds tight man
awesome truck feel like its a little underpowered tho i know a guy that has a built 454 naturally aspirated thats making 600 horse power so for it being blown and making 680 seems a little low
The Blower was mixed in with a pickup load of parts I bought, sold a couple items that paid for everything, basically the blower was free.
wow, mudpeoplesuck is a BADASS cat expert!
@rodeofan5656 The truck was long from done at this point as you can clearly see, yes the front was welded shortly after this.
... and this my friends is how you take the "feathering" or "chopping" out of your daily driver 4x4 pickup truck tires! (Of course, that's also how you wear 'em out prematurely too.) LOL!
nice man i can think of a few mud roads id like to ransack with that nothin sounds like a chrysler big block
nice cranking at the beginning :)
Thats got some drive shaft triwsting power
The hell with the haters thats all they know. that is one bad truck sir, and it sounds
amazing.
@BaracoBoy smart dude, misuse of "your".
@ 3:42 mark...."you're drippin' something Ryan. what are ya drippin'?".
it's called sweat!
:)
nice video!
@hpjunky70 All three gears, high range once, low range once.
Why'd you change the paint? I like it better when the trucks have a nice used look to em.
cool luv that old dog
WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AWSOME!!!!
because thats the tire the brake is on. its the one thats holding the truck in place
@ryan112976 what year is that dodge and the truck sounds bad asss
I'm a Chevy guy but that truck is badass
Well your transmission was working. LOL nice
Time to go to " NTB" for the tire warranty .... was that 50,000 or 66,000 miles or your money back??
Thats Badass!
There's nothing like a blown V8!
awesome man
