I appreciate the interviewer is in earnest, but what does an American have to do with European conservatism? You may as well call this channel the International Conservative. This tendency to sprinkle a dose of Americana on everything touching European politics is troubling. This interviewer can never replace the intuitive feeling a European interviewer has for the European he is interviewing.
