Thank you for the review and I appreciate all of the points!
Definitely agree with the feedback regarding squats, I don't want people thinking that it is meant for squats as a primary exercise and then be disappointed.
Couple of things that might help when used for squats though; extending the hook straps to their longest position using the adjustable buckle, using squat wedges to more easily get into the bottom position, and using a chair or something in front for support and balance, especially when getting out of the hole.
    Keep putting out great content!

I have ya'lls belt that I use with my X3. And I actually use my Appliance Dolly in front of me for stability and getting every last little rep out I can before I'm totally out of juice. I love this belt! Doing between 20-40 reps with X3's black band now. Hopefully it just keeps working and I get stronger :)

I just bought a squat harness. It's pretty amazing. I use it with a landmine for front squats , as I have 0 problems building back of my legs. I can also use it with cable machine. I feel like you just need a different band plate - at my gym we have one it's made like this: two plates for feet, and one in the middle. So you attach to that narrow plate in the middle while pressing down with feet.

I think the argument is does it offer anything significant over just holding the bands yourself while doing the split squat? So far from what you have explained I personally do not see the $80 value of the item. I think at $30 it would sell like hot cakes, but $80 is a touch sell.

@@hensolo10lol no way, you can use a regular gym belt and wrap a comfy towel around where you thread resistance bands to protect the resistance bands for wear and tear. The carabiners are just going to wear the rubber away.
You have a proper lifting belt, you don't need this gimmick carabiner belt

Good stuff, I hate doing legs with bands. They work good for me to hit all the muscles in my upper body, but I prefer kettkebell and sandbags for leg work.

Hi Diligent Dave, I recently found your channel and I have a question/possible video idea. I'm a wheelchair user and want to try to get back into shape and have a good set of tube bands. i love the idea of the Ultra door anchor also as opposed to top of the door as normal, what is your idea of a "chair workout"?

I'm curious to know if you could put this belt on upside down and do overhead presses with it for someone with lower back issues? My idea is to put the belt on securely so it doesn't ride up past the upper chest and be able to push bands attached to the belt upward in order to do the overhead press. The only problem I see is the belt wouldn't hold and start riding upwards with each rep unless you secure the belt tight enough but not too tight.

Did you try extending the hooks? I just used the belt with a 19" plate. I started with a bar and band doing front squats along with the belt on. Dropped the bar and continued doing squats until failure.

Hey Dave, have you noticed loop bands kind of catching a little bit on the clinch foot plate like if you do a dead lift they kind of skip a little bit as they release tension or is it a smooth motion? It seems like the foot plates I’ve tried, kind of hold the band and release it unevenly sometimes strain

@@DisciplineDave Hi Dave. I use an open style trap type bar. I attach straps to the bar on the front and back side of where the handles attach to the bar so that when I attach the hooks of the belt to the straps the bar lifts straight. I place the bar with weights on blocks so that I only have to bend over a bit to have the belt hooks engage the straps. And the belt is all that you said!
