"They gave her to me,Yoshi!" "Gave her? To you? I doubt it was that easy with Admiral Shelby." *(Irish accent)* "Yer right!" *(laughter)* "Well, any woman who can manage such a feat, I wouldn't dare disappoint! She'll launch on time sir, and she'll be ready!" -CAPT. Acorna Harakamian-Li and LCDR Kirayoshi O'Brien discussing the launch of the Odyssey-class USS Enterprise(NCC-1701-E)
Dialogue needs a lot of work. The dockmaster would be responsible for clearing a ship to depart drydock, not "flight control". Also, ships don't "take off", they drop all moorings and begin a "departure sequence" which is then handled in part by helm control and tractor beams.
I don't like the design. Why the gap between the saucer and secondary? It's a weak spot that the Sovereign doesn't have. We know that weak necks are built in disaster zones.
Interesting. But do you think, the saucer connection of the Connie is stronger? My favourite design is the Constitution Refit, but i think the same about her saucer connection as you to the Odyssey "gap" 🥰🖖
@@stodemorecordings it's because of the weakness exposed in the Connie 2 and the Excelsior improved neck design that inform my concern about the Odyssey design. That same issue is why Sovereigns design is superior to the Odyssey. Looking at it reminds me of the Oberth too.
@@scottyb68 You're comparing an science vessel to an battleship. Isn't that illogical? However, at first i didn't like the odyssey too. But later i had more things to do with her and now i think i like her. Not as much as the Connie-II but i think i don't hate her. And the neck... Only the federation ingenieurs know, why there's the gap 🥰🖖
@@stodemorecordings not comparing their function but defect in design. I love the Connie 2 but TWOK showed the weakness in the neck design. I might have liked the Odyssey had I not seen the Sovereign 1st. I'd take a Sovereign any day, but in ranking of Enterprises I'd take the Refit #1, Sovereign #2, TOS 1701 #3 B #4, C #5, NX #6, D #7. No F-Z - Definitely no bloody J. And no JJPrise. That's just me though. I was a kid when the 1st movie came out and I thought the Refit was the most beautiful ship I'd ever seen.
First of its name first of its class!
So beautiful, graceful, elegant, noble, powerful, precious, strong, and so cool!! Wonderfully done!!🥰🥰❤️❤️💕💕👍👍👊👊
🖖😎👍Very cool and a very sleek looking beautiful designed ship indeed a very wonderfully fabulous job well done Sir!👌.

*Well Done! Thursday Greetings, Like 105!* ⭐😃👍
