The aircraft is configured with a fairly average seat configuration … Airbus says the A220-300 can fit up to 160 passengers. The airframe I flew did have the standard QantasLink livery. I don’t mind pilot announcements … but to each their own, I guess. 🤷
What's with Qantas and their fascination with Bread and butter. Like some ole English tradition. It creates way too much dishes and greasy fingers on buttons. Virgin have it down pat. Simple tasty meals.
It’s to do with British tradition, it also looks better on their brand. Virgin Aus. Is also a partial lower-cost airline, so the meals won’t be as good. Whereas Qantas is a full service airline.
There's a lot of people here in the USA that are very leary about flying on a plane made by Boeing. Some of their planes are falling apart in mid air. I don't know how much of our media reports get to you guys but you might want to look it up.
What a miss. Where the feck is the tv for 3hrs? You don't offer entertainment if I can't see the video and no...I'm not using my paid device to use a service you say you provide (you being Qantas not you the content person). That's like a supermarket saying yea you can pay with a credit card but you've gotta bring the EFTPOS machine to use the credit card.
There’s wifi on board couldn’t you just go on your phone and watch whatever you want or do whatever you want on your phone or device (that you have with you anyways) rather than being stuck with the limited entertainment on the IFE. Virgin, Rex, etc don’t have seat back IFE either and most other Australian airlines aircraft don’t have wifi either. I understand you want a screen but really no point….

I don’t mind pilot announcements … but to each their own, I guess. 🤷
Nice but would not pay $1300 for business class
I doubt many people would (perhaps only businesses).
What's with Qantas and their fascination with Bread and butter. Like some ole English tradition. It creates way too much dishes and greasy fingers on buttons. Virgin have it down pat. Simple tasty meals.
Whinge whinge whinge, wipe ya friggin fingers son 🙄
It’s to do with British tradition, it also looks better on their brand. Virgin Aus. Is also a partial lower-cost airline, so the meals won’t be as good. Whereas Qantas is a full service airline.
Qantas on business class love there sourdough bread and butter 😂
Good point. I’m not sure … seems to be customary. 🤷
There's a lot of people here in the USA that are very leary about flying on a plane made by Boeing. Some of their planes are falling apart in mid air. I don't know how much of our media reports get to you guys but you might want to look it up.
It’s all across the world.
Yes, we hear all about Boeing’s issues.
Damn this actually looks so good compared to the shitty 737 business class that they have.
True!
You share the same surname as former Qantas CEO Alan Joyce. Any relation????
No relation. It’s funny … sometimes crew ask me that too when they see my boarding pass. 😂😂
@@FromtheWindowSeatNo offence was meant by my comment. Nice channel.
@@theaustralianconundrum All good - it's something people wonder about.
are business class flights just tax right offs for corporations? I don't really see the value in the price apart from the decent wifi
Maybe. I’m not sure. 🤷
The catering is truely disgusting
It was a bit disappointing although edible.
Could've done with a pair of pants if you're planning to film your legs but hey that's just me
Not sure how to reply to this. I wore shorts because it was a hot day. Wasn't planning to film my legs ... but sometimes sh*t happens.
yeah it is just you.
That food is lazy, substandard and industry worst
The taste was fine but yeah, it was lacking.
Ha … fair enough. Apparently there’s a major weight saving in not installing setback screens.
You don’t have a mobile or tablet?
Can see BYOD becoming standard, it's a major cost and weight saving for the airline
Great aircraft.
CBR-MEL is my most common route.. 😊✈️🫶
Excellent - you’ll make the most of this aircraft then! 😁
