Hi! I sometimes get warnings for copyright infringement. In this case I'm still allowed to upload videos, but I can't monetize them. It's actually difficult to avoid such warnings, all I can do is to use only small pieces of songs.

It is safe to use a piece about 10-20 seconds long. But everything is so unpredictable. Some songs (usually the winners and other popular ones) can get copyrighted, even if the piece lasts for 5 seconds. And sometimes I show 30-35 seconds of a song (usually not popular) and don't get any warnings.
eurovision is the reason why i started to enjoy crazy stuff. a screaming chicken puppet from an irish tv show? why not. balcanian rappers in astronaut outfits? sure. verka serdyuchka? hell yeah.

You can tell by our televote results for the grand final: 12 points to Norway, 10 points to Iceland (and 12 points in the Semi-Final) Our jury actually ranked Iceland highly too, which was great because they had a bit more trouble winning over the juries. Very proud of my country for accepting more unique entries with open arms! ❤ Keep it coming, Europe - less ballads and pop songs, more industrial techno and joiking.
When it comes to Masks, 2017 Norway, I think? They had one of musicians wearing a mask for the performace but I heard it was because his wife was pregnant and if she were to have a baby, he would go to her, so to cover up a potential disappearance the mask was born. It was really cool though and added to the performance~~
Imagine showing a Eurovision fan from about 30 years ago this video to show what this has become 😂 admittedly, Eurovision has always has its share of madness (Austria in 1981 springs to mind when I think of that in the past) but it was at least somewhat serious...at a time.
Jon Ola Sand said that they may end up participating sometime in the future, but the condition is that they have to establish their own "Eurovision America" first. Probably so that the EBU can check whether they will actually be a valuable addition to the competition. If they aren't genuinely enthusiastic about Eurovision the way Australia is, or they don't grasp the zaniness and the spirit of fun and unity that the competition is supposed to have, then there would be no point including them.
