Great video. You cover it all. I actually discovered the opposing grip myself a few years ago - just made sense as a compromise grip. Shoot my best that way but still my consistent bad is straight left - very far left. I used to be a slicer. I think my big problem and most viewers is to find something like this - and then go to the range and practice 1/4 or 1/2 swings with some good results for a few dozen balls. You think you have it, get very bored, and quickly move to full swing. No longer works! You have not yet re-programmed the brain. Keep doing the 1/2 shots for many buckets before trying to make a little bit more of a full backswing. It takes a LOT of un-programming before re-programming happens. Easy to say but I still don't want to waste a jumbo bucket on the small stuff! Takes a LOT of patience. Thanks . Will watch more of yours.

The key to golf is your right shoulder. Bring your right shoulder down under your chin. Tbis creates side bend. All great ball strikers have side bend. The only way to create side bend is to drop your right shoulder. You wanna feel as if your right shoulder goes under the ball on the down swing

Brilliant video - I've been struggling with achieving a square clubface. Sometomes its good, other times not. Have been trying to close the clubface in the downswing, but timing needs to be good.
The grip element of this video, eith the opposing forces has been a revelation for me. The ball is consistently straight, which means i am more confident of a square contact and can concentrate on external visualisation of my shot.
    Thanks

I like the idea of simple which is why I’ve been trying to implement a Single Plane Swing. I’ve been doing well but do get a strong draw or straight right push at times and I believe you made a comment that I hadn’t heard ‘Opposing Forces’ on your grip. And I’ve retained a strong grip always cause well I was told never change the grip you are comfortable with therefore I didn’t. So now with season coming to an end I will bring my grip back, I like the left hand strong and will bring my right hand back to the middle; but will continue on the Single Plane. Thank you for your time and info.😊

You're not in the same swing plane throughout your stroke. You start with the club shaft intersecting your upper groin area (with a hands-down position), and finish on the downswing at impact with the club shaft intersecting your chest.
It's a two-plane swing, and is more complicated, requiring more timing at impact than a single-plane swing.

I've been playing for 16 years I've hit ever shot possible hole in one eagle birdies and an albatross
You can go to the range and practice all day and for a short while you might the ball well it's the good and bad in your swing that makes it work the moment you make many changes you just might be taking away the 1 piece that makes it all come together if you do practice i recommend you practice from green back to 150 to 100 yards that is where low scores come into play.
Lastly getting comfortable with your arms underneath you and in front will remove so many faults you can't expect to get into any of these you tube positions without getting posture and set up ball position for wait for it "your body" we want that pga look but let's master your swing and you will get those pga results

Idk man. 75% through this video it was absolutely brilliant because there is a huge trend in golf right now where people are chasing a quick fix and UA-cam and Instagram has it all.
I agree that the simple things sound easy to replicate, but they are incredibly difficult. Everyone’s golf swing is also unique and I don’t agree that your weak grip is the best and easiest…
“Shallowing” also such a buzz word that people are using to try and teach him and get views, but is it way more difficult to do then people realize.
“Bowing the wrist” is another hot topic when actually pros like Morikawa came out and said he actually tries to not do this, but it happens naturally for him.
Overall, I think you are right that a lot of these trendy things require excellent timing. But everyone golf swing does..

Hope that makes sense. Essentially i suppose what i am trying to say is once the back swing is complete are we finished with our arms and hands and its a body swing ? Why not simplify the swing even further and *NOT* start with a two-plane swing? Setup like Moe Norman (Natural Golf, Graves Golf, etc.) with a single plane. That way you start your backswing/upswing the same as your downswing/thru-swing. That way there's no need to make lead-leg and spine straightening adjustments at the point of impact to square your club.
Edit: see Kirk Junge as a middle ground swing plane setup.
