Thank you for this review! I’m worried my 15.6in Lenovo legion won’t fit in the laptop pocket as it’s bulkier than a MacBook, did you find the pocket slim? Or is it wider than it seems? Pls let me know 🙏

Hey! The inside of the laptop compartment on the regular Day Owl measures 15 x 10.25 inches. As long as your laptop is under those dimensions it will fit. Just keep in mind that it looks like Day Owl designed these laptop compartments around Macbooks. The closer your laptop is to 15" across (on the longer side), the more risk it has of touching the zippers of the laptop compartment and not offering the best protection. Hope this helps!

does the day owl pro have a false bottom?

It has a thick strip of foam at the bottom of the laptop compartment instead. There has never been a problem with the laptop hitting the ground since the foam piece absorbs most of the shock.
