Misty, I love when you "get lost in the moment" and describe the faces of the figurines! You make every thrifting video a fun, whimsical adventure. Please keep getting lost in the moment! Your imagination is absolutely delightful. And you are an absolute treasure, my dear!
It took me FOREVER to find the "angel" picture you found because I love it! It's by Curzon. Fun fact - it's actually Psyche in the Underworld (the hellhounds are Cerberus, the three-headed guard dog of Hell). She was sent to the underworld by Aphrodite on one of many near-impossible feats to prove her love for Aphrodite's son, Eros (aka Cupid). It's a fantastic story and an amazing piece of art!
I love, love, love, watching you! You totally crack me up so much. So many clowns!! Then when you said, "it's like looking in a mirror, girl" over the nude ashtray....so incredibly funny!! Laughed out loud!!
Oh do many great things. LOVED that Czech vase. So colorful. Yiu really are so funny. Example About the book "Sing a song of salads". You "maybe cheese or cupcakes" ha !! Me too
I absolutely agree with the person before that commented that you are a treasure!! I love when you talk to all the cute characters and cute vintage cards, books, anamorphic antiques. What makes me.really laugh out loud is when you come across a scary clown!!!!Hilarious!😄😄😄😄❤
I love watching these!! Your comments crack me up! I’m washing dishes with my earbuds in laughing my butt off…hubby thinks I’ve lost my mind….which may be true! Lol!!
I might've already told you this but my son was deployed to Atterbury last Nov-Dec to assist with Kabul refugees. You can imagine how many side trips I made at that antique mall after visiting him. His duty station is TX so I caught every chance I could to be with him.💜
Awww, saw you buy that pixie that created some excitement in your sale last night (interesting bid from Gutsy Betsey). Love it when you find items you have not discovered or seen…the excitement can be heard in your voice). You are always so thoughtful of others (sending the video to MT). They should just give you a key (I would if I owned a shop). I collected the brooms (a little bit longer) and hang then across my porch steps at Halloween to keep away evil spirits. Fun shop and always fun shopping with you!
I talk to inanimate objects too. I figure they have been around a while if antique or vintage, so maybe they have some "energy" from the last owner. I know, I know, I sound weird, but think about it! That was so good Misty, and ooh Michael what a lovely lady!!
Your commentary on the clowns cracked me up! Great video..thanks for taking us along. The fish with Carlyle on it is probably Carlyle, Illinois. Carlyle Lake is located there. (A southern Illinois favorite for fishing and camping.)
Misty, I can't even believe how awesome the angel print is. It's also awesome that you got it for yourself. I hope you still have it. It's interesting to me that you found the angel print and the copy of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam in the same trip. Until recently I wasn't interested in that book either even though it kept showing up in my life for years. Recently however I learned that Omar Khayyam was a poet, astronomer, and mathematician born in Persia (now Iran?) in 1123 A.D. The book is a poem that was disguised as a romantic love poem but is really about the soul's love for God. The most accurate/true translation of the book was done by a man named Edward Fitzgerald in 1859. I'm currently reading The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam Explained (emphasis on "explained"). This was a very fun video.
i CANNOT believe that Fenton glowed! who knew!? that's a newer satin piece...wow! i gotta get my light out and look at my Fenton! i thought it was more depression glass that glowed?
i enjoy your videos. you look at stuff i like too! you have a pleasant voice and go at a good pace! i'm getting back into my eBay sales right now, so been watching some of these 'shop with me' videos. i kinda want to do these too, but my son says NO! haha. he says people are mean behind their keyboard.
Bozo reminds me of John Wayne Gacy. Which, fun fact, he worked for my Pop Pop and came over my Grandparents house for dinner and my Mom remembers him 😦
I agree! I feel bad bothering someone to open a case & then not taking whatever it is I was interested in because it isn't within my budget. I almost feel obligated to get it because I bothered them... Ugh, lol.
Been there many times as my daughter lives in Columbus. I’ve seen things I wanted to go back to but couldn’t find again. Should have taken a picture/noted the booth number. You can get lost in that place. I once got caught in a loop in the Fisher’s IKEA and had to really study the signs to get out!
When you visit this mall, it takes me back. Us old dusty dealers were serious as a heart attack. We all subscribed to the AntiqueWeek, central or eastern edition and Antique Trader magazine newspapers. They still exist. The articles were top notch, auction listings were unbelievable, and every antique place had ads. I don’t know if they have archives or past years for download. A lot of this recall in my head comes from the print that ‘burnt my brain’ (Kentucky terminology). That is one of my favorite places.
It’s so interesting to me that antique stores near you run sales for cash/check only or that you get a greater discount for cash/check. It’s so normal to you. I wish that was the norm here! So far, of all the antique and vendor malls I’ve been to throughout CA (which is quite a few) I have never seen that done here. ☹️
I love that you address the items, I do this too and my teenager looks at me and rolls her eyes. One day I will be funny again. For now, I shall entertain myself... Thanks for being my kind of people on your shopping adventures, you truly are entertaining Misty!
When you put Colonel Sanders in your basket and mentioned the KFC Christmas chicken bucket, I wonder - did you know there are at least 3 Colonel Sanders Christmas albums?? I decorate with Christmas album covers and couldn't resist having one of the Colonel's - he looks great on my mantel!
Right next to the Ralpo(?) Figurines on the bike for 2 that you bought - there was a white statuette of a young boy saluting. Do you know what that was repping? It is John Kennedy Jr - about 5 yes old- who, without prompting, saluted as his father's coffin went by in the procession to the cemetery. His father John Kennedy was one of the most beloved presidents in history . But that small gesture by John John was the most heart rending minute in viewing time that most of us would know. This is just an FYI, and I'll admit to a tear or two as I type this - i think i was 10-11 when it happened. . It's hard to explain- but President Kennedy's death was truly an end to the more innocent eras. Anyway, love watching your show - and enjoy the items you pick - and seeing the ones you don't also!
I think it is wonderful when you think of friends when out sourcing! The vase is gorgeous that Michael agreed on!!❤️ You seem like a fun person to befriend!😍
I always enjoy your videos bcuz of the funny commentary. you seem to enjoy what you do so much and how much you love vintage and antiques comes thru on video. Michael Todd is fun to watch also I think you two are awesome
Love this place, it is smart to keep tabs on current retail prices since vintage trends change, adapt. I always go with my gut, and believe me that took years to learn 😂😂 Thanks Misty for taking us along❤️😻❤️
I love when you shop by yourself and you chatter about! You make me smile!!
I love it when you create stories to go with the faces of figurines and toys. Very cute
Misty you crack me up 😂
Misty! That Royal Dux piece. Oh, my heart! Gorgeous. That was a fabulous shop.
I get excited about vintage items that you are enthusiastic about. Thanks for letting us in on the fun!
Thank you so much for the comments to the little figurines, you make me giggle .
Love love love your shop along videos! It makes my day.
Misty, I love all your glasses, especially the green ones are they available to purchase? Judith Slater
I think the "angel" picture is Pandora with the box from Greek mythology. It's lovely!
Love shopping with you Misty

haha! The best part is getting lost in Misty's stories of what the little figures are thinking.

There as a figurine if John John Kennedy saluting his dad at his funeral. I think you over looked it. I have never seen one before, so precious.

Fun shopping with you.
lmao, I need that mug. My mom and granny have terrible habits of grabbing your glasses and putting them in the dishwasher if your hand isn't on them!
Awesome stuff in there! I too love old potato chip cans! They are just pricey, but the graphics are awesome! 🥰

@@ThrifterJunkerVintageHunter Thank you, Misty. He recently re-enlisted for 4 more years. I have a feeling he'll stay in until retirement.
Such a Wonderful Wonderland.
Great buy on the angel picture you got for yourself.
Of course I love this video! That place is amazing!
I have been here several times, and it is huge! I always found so many things. After watching this video, I can't wait to get back there again. :)

Do you have the best personality ever!! 😀
That bowl is Wheaties. Breakfast of Champions. Love all the little things in cases.
you crack me up. love your videos. thank you.
Always a fun ride!!!
You go right ahead and talk to those critters. I literally laughed out loud and scared the cat in my lap
I talk to inanimate objects too. I figure they have been around a while if antique or vintage, so maybe they have some "energy" from the last owner. I know, I know, I sound weird, but think about it! That was so good Misty, and ooh Michael what a lovely lady!!
The girl in the picture with the box is Pandora unleashing all the woes on the world.
"Wonderful Things"

Why do I think we had that Kentucky Fried Chicken Colonel Sanders in our house when I was growing up?!?!
You got some awesome goodies!!!!!
Love the narratives you come up with!
Misty, I'm 67 and had a chimpanzee as a preschooler. As I was an only child, he was my little brother!
Enjoyed the video!

Oh my, so fun!
I’m sorry to hear you’re not feeling well. I’m trying to catch up with vlogs. Hopefully you’re on the mend!
i love the way you talk to the items
I do enjoy your videos. I’m going to have to make a trip to IN to do some antiquing.
So Amusing
My favorite antique mall!! Thank you
"Sing a song of cheese....sing a song of cupcakes....but not sing a song of salads". You are hilarious!!!!!!
I wonder if that was Pandora, with her box and demon dogs.
Thank you for the video Misty 🥰
lol, those were some evil looking squirrels and parrots!
Your right don't the road from me , I was there Saturday, good deals there
I love when you "get lost in the moment"!!!
The Rubyette Of Omar Kiam sp? was used by Jim Morrison of the Doors as an example of lyrics. That book was a keeper. Go back and get it.
Bozo reminds me of John Wayne Gacy. Which, fun fact, he worked for my Pop Pop and came over my Grandparents house for dinner and my Mom remembers him 😦
Those black leather things are clip holders
"Hold me close Tony Danza", nice.
I wish when vendors use cases they would make sure the price shows. I don't want to bother someone to open a case if the price is too high for me.
I agree! I feel bad bothering someone to open a case & then not taking whatever it is I was interested in because it isn't within my budget. I almost feel obligated to get it because I bothered them... Ugh, lol.
