I have been using sublimation for a year now. I have an Epson ET-2760 that only prints 8 1/2 X 11 but it easy to splice for larger prints. I have found that the best ink that makes your colors really pop is Cosmos Ink. I use Teflon over my butcher paper because it helps even out the heat distribution. I have experimented with several different products in many different ways. When it comes to paper I prefer A-Sub paper because it has the ability to absorb more ink resulting in better products.

Here are some things I have learned about sublimation. Epson is one of the few brands of printers that can be converted, something to a heat source in printers. You can print on ordinary printer paper does not have to be sublimation paper, but of course you will get better results using sublimation paper. The first heat press that cricut made does not get hot enough for sublimation, second generation works great. Any paper that can absorb the ink can be used butcher, printer, newsprint, parchment paper can be used. The higher the polyester content of fabric the better any other items must be pre-coated. Heat resistant tape helps eliminate ghosting.

This video gave me so much joy. I laughed so hard. I noticed right away that you were not using the butcher paper and that made me lol.
