you know, the funny thing is that I like this old prototype version of the board so much better than the production one. It is so much brighter and more detailed. The actual retail version is like dark gray on black. It is so dull and hard to see any detail on it.

How do you use the interrupt type cards? When other players are doing their turn in the same room as you right? Cause I didn't know that on my first game and one player who was captain backstabbed me and forced me to go back in a room with an Intruder. If only I knew how this card worked I could've saved my skin then ;(

No mention what happens when someone dies. What if several die?
There are many ways you could die in the game and I think if you do that's it.. You could have several players dying and you could have more than one winner as well.. all possibilities are open!
Okay, I guess they changed the rules a bit in the Kickstarter. I found out a player dies and they then can control the aliens. Not sure what happens if more players die, but it's something at least.
You might be right, I'm actually not updated when it come to the final rulebook, but I will grab the final version when it's available

Hi Eleni, I'm afraid the rules of the final game are not the same as explained in this video. Perhaps u used pre-production rules. It looks like it's worth noting in the video and video title because I came away with some misconceptions... If you're using the rules you explain, you're not "playing it right", unfortunately.
Hi Jeroen, the video was released during the KS campaign using the prototype and rules that was sent to me by Awaken Realms, so that's why it's dated January of 2018. The final version of the rules and production copy was sent to backers a long time after the date of this video, so for sure this is not the final version.

Who is she?
First of all, this is just a prototype or a homemade p2p. The components and the board itself vary drastically from the ones on the video in the full game that got shipped. The Rules also. Examples: Rooms from the second grp are now the ones which are placed randomly and not all get placed, rooms from first grp are all on the board. Each player gets 5 action cards in the beginning not 6. Objective cards are discarded (so that every player has only one) only when the first alien appears on the board. I could list many more discrepancies. Don't watch this :/ read the manual pdf instead....
Matthew, this video was the official how to play preview video while the game was on Kickstarter. Of course lots of rules and components changed since then, this is the case with the majority of KS projects. It's still useful if you're interested in a general overview but I'm sure there must be some other video that follows the current rulebook.
@@CardboardRhino I wish that were the case. Unfortunately there are none yet. :( I'm just giving a heads up to the people who would like to use this video to learn to play the real game they got instead of reading the manual. At this point reading the manual is a must as none of the gameplay vids on YT show the updated rules of the finished game. And to step ahead of a question, yes, I know a lot of people who rather just watch a gameplay than read a manual. So this info is aimed at them :-)

Yeah it's a prototype, the final version will be better. You can stay tuned in their upcoming Kickstarter campaign to have an idea of the end product
Was the same with Lords of Hellas from the same developer, prior to Kickstarter launch. All protoype components except miniatures was more or less mockups, with printed paper glued to card board. Even the dice was a small card board box.
If you have tabletop simulator, there is a Nemesis mod with the updated cards and map arts
