Sounds way better than the Arrive Canada App.... pretty sure this app doesn't require $60 million

This won't fly, I want my realtor to keep bidding a secret to keep the buyers guessing.

One reason not to use this platform is not to pay 5% more according to the video😅😅😅 But I would prefere transparency for everyone, not only when the buyer wants it

I registered, but the site is confusing, I don’t know how to see offers or filter by the properties with offers

It just launched last week. It will take some time for agents to start using it. All listings will be on there in Ontario, similar to realtor.ca

@@TomStorey Got it, It would be nice to have a property that we could follow, maybe look into a US example?

Marianne from Final Offer here! From the main website, view homes in Ontario, it will open the map view with the listings to the right. Change “For Sale” to “Awaiting Offers”, please note that it is also brand new to the area, so we are working diligently on training to get everyone up to speed! ❤

@@denesbastos2001 Hi I have two listings out on final offer here in Ontario now and have 3 more coming online. Love seeing Tom embracing the software as well. Dipping our toes into the future. Everyone has been asking for transparency....

Tom always makes good content, but this video was just pure marketing for the Final Offer platform. The reality is this platform is not good by any means for the buyer, it may work in favour of the seller. We need some tools to make the buyer experience good as well.

I get what you're saying. I feel that making it open is a better experience for buyers compared to the traditional offer process.

Open bidding never yields the best outcome for bidders. It's easier to stay within boundaries for the buyers with close offers, otherwise the mindset of "oh it's only 5k more" (which could end happening multiple times) might drive buyers way out of their limits before even they know it.

How can transparency be a disadvantage for buyers? E.g. pressure and overpaying, limited negotiation etc. Is this a win-win or a win-lose?

Really great point. I have worked at Final Offer for over a year, and in my experience, it’s win-win. People in general struggle with decision making, so being able to decide to walk away (or not) and feel in control of that decision using real time data is extremely powerful, and far less emotionally draining than the way things have been done in the past.

You wont get the highest amount without blind bidding. Doesnt really make sense.
