I have been going to see Liv for 50 years now, ever since I sat on the floor at "Amazing Grace" coffee house in Evanston, Il. Last night, I saw him perform once again and, as always, he takes me to a trancelike world that I wish we all could live in with the beauty and simplicity of his work. He mentioned in concert that he had gone to London to work with this group, so today I HAD to seek it out. Well Liv,, my lifelong inspiration,,, all I can say is THANK YOU once again for this performance of one of my all time favorite pieces... You STILL sound like you did way back there on that coffeehouse floor,,, and this BBC Orchestra simply brings the beauty of this piece out perfectly.... Thank you again.
He wrote this back in 1988, and I promise you he has continued at the same standard. You might enjoy finding his anthology album put out last year celebrating his 50 years in music. It has so much of his great work all in one place, including some new material. Enjoy.
I’m tinkering in the basement. I’m feeling “once made of steel” myself today and I can hear the wood creaking above me from her footsteps and feeling reassured somehow. And then this great gift of a performance came along to give words and music to what I am feeling. Thank you Livingston Taylor, your fellow performers and the executive producer.
Absolutely beautiful. Reminds me so much of a lot of the symphonic pop of the 60s, that "live studio" sound with the guitarist/singer and orchestra in the background. The string arrangements remind me a little bit of Robert Kirby's arrangements for Nick Drake. There's some musical magic in the British air.
It was definitely worth the trip across the pond! Delighted to see and hear your collaboration with the BBC Concert Orchestra bear such wonderful fruit.

I chose this song for my daughters wedding. The Father/Daughter dance when she married 15 years ago. Thank you Liv and bravo!
Loving the gentle graces in his playing and singing. Gentle compassion is its own fortitude, and he embodies that so splendidly.
Great job Liv. Been following your music since our food tour.
Beautiful!
Liv, such a beautiful song and arrangement. I’m transported to the first time I heard you sing this song, so many moons ago!💕🌙🌿
Just beautiful as always. My mentor forever! Thanks Livingston for all you’ve done for me and all of us…glad I know you well!
Keep writing this kind of material it rings true

How lovely to see LIvingston with this orchestra. I had the pleasure of meeting him when he performed in Bryn Mawr, a suburb of Philadelphia.
Nice song Livingston. Thanks.
Breathtakingly beautiful!
Wow! Excellent song choice. You are the only one that doesn't need a music stand. Thanks for sharing this.
Liv!!
Dr. Pete here in NY…

What a beautiful performance. I, too, had goosebumps throughout the song. I am blessed to have you as my friend.
