Maybe you could try something with axe specials? It's probably the most niche thing to make a build around but I think there might be some really good combos for it
i love the mobility the skull gives. using a special mid dash to extend range or change direction just lets you drift around so quickly and it feels really nice with medea
This is how the Aspect of Beowulf worked in the first Hades. You would charge up your cast and then rush to the target, shield bashing them and the casts you used to charge it would become lodged in the target.
This build is actually so fun, I did this with just regular aspect of melinoe twice in a row (hadn't unlocked medea yet) and got 2 wins in underworld and surface, it's a super consistent build and you don't even really need the hammer that gives you the special returning, although it's a huge boost, I ran mostly this special base + storm ring and deadalus dash + vent for damage, still melted chronos and eris, I really recommend this build, strong + safe overall
@@SyrobePLUS pretty sure that is not true? I should have gotten myself stuck in low mana hell plenty of times otherwise, since it's my go-to mana replenishing boon. If you don't have enough mana remaining, your omega move is still successful and the missing mana is deducted from your new, refilled and adjusted total.
@@SyrobePLUS I believe that's not true, I haven't tested it with every weapon/aspect, but for me, it just resets if my mana is lower than the mana needed for the Omega
@@thedarksideofgaming8834 oh yeah it does allow you to overcast your spells, but at the cost of losing max mana. regardless the Hephaestus Gain does provide more value since you are very likely to be hit with this build given how close you need to be to enemies to deal damage AND it gives you a total damage reduction from every source of damage in the game👍
It like a mix of the Hera bow and shield charge. It’s really fun. I haven’t gotten far with it but it’s such a blast blowing up enemies. I used mostly poseidon boons which added to the fun.
Feels like Aphrodite’s attack would really elevate this build, since it’s usually a 100% increase at least, and you’ll always be in close range when the skull pops. Moros Keepsake might also be good since you’re taking a lot of damage as well.
trust me when I say this isn’t revolutionary. the play style very much so mirrors that of the shield aspect that utilized casts as a part of its bash. still hella fun regardless! 🔥

The skull is almost broken. The omega special in particular My first Chronos kill was with basic skull but two hammers on special and two Chaos boon for special damage.
you ever test if the aphro special does more damage than hera's hitch? cuz usually if I focus poms on it I can get it to over 300% close-range damage lmao, but idk how high hitch can go before diminishing returns
actually yea ur right i forgot zeus blitz scales more on the special too, so you could just slap aphro on the attack when u send it right into their faces lol; I think there's also a boon that procs all blitz-afflicted foes so you can wipe out entire chambers with that cracked shiet@@SyrobePLUS
have you tried possessed array with this build? i wonder if there's still a way to trigger the omega attack even if you don't technically retrieve the skulls
could try this with aphro on your special and hephastos and your attack, did a similar build with those two and it felt like I was priming nukes every 3 secs lol
Zeus works better as attack because you INSTANTLY proc it, hephestus isnt as good because you have to wait 12 seconds and zeus deals more damage in that time
@@SyrobePLUS 12 seconds for a common boon, but if you get an epic/heroic version and juice it up a bit with some poms it'll deal 500 dmg every 2-3 seconds I think it also spreads to neaby enemies too
@@wido3471 thats not how pom works, you are basically saying yeah bro just get a king and an ace every time and you always win black jack! #1 you arent guaranteed enough poms to make it worth it and #2 poms randomly select 3 boons to upgrade so its actually very possible to not even get it as an option. in an ideal setting yes but not guaranteed.
Aspect of Thanatos on the moon axe and a cast build with Zeus, make sure originator arcana card is on and get a curse effect from your attack and the cast/sprint. Throw the omega cast down and then do the spinning omega attack, you will nuke every enemy in the game including Chronos

Apolo adding AOE makes this much much safer and you can nuke half the screen. Same with the axe. Apolo makes it cover most of the screen
