    A brand new state of the art multi million dollar school with all the advantages but yet, absolutely nothing has changed in black "culture". I'm shocked. No, this was totally predictable.

      That school looked amazing. What a waste.

      Yet another myth shattered: "funding". That high tech building looks like it'll run the space program, & they still failed.

      You haven't heard the latest.They need more resources to fix what's broken.But they don't say what the "broken" is.

    Is it a privilege to receive a diploma you can’t read?

    • @havilahki4599

      Sure,it's a privilege! Even if they take it home, frame it and hang it upside down.

      lmao, it is a given that you can receive a diploma. I stole exams in HS, sold copies, cheated on state exit exams, and cheated every chance I got. I still was able to pass without consequences. Even now, I have helped some students do online courses for $$$. I didn't get blasted and they still let me graduate. I would do it again if I had my way and dare the school to revoke my diploma. I would surprised if they actually did revoke it but doubt that they will as HS lets kids get away with cheating and planarization (I am an example) while colleges on the other hand does not.

    WHERE'S BLACK LIVES MATTER ON THIS CASE?!
    I'm sorry, but this ticks me off greatly. This crap happened knowingly, and there is no noise about this?! I thought these black kids lives matter, but I guess only if someone can make a dollar from them.

      Once kids start using drugs, there's not a lot anybody can do with them.

    This is what you get when you name a school after a singing bear from the Jungle Book movie .

    Students given diplomas without reaching graduation requirements, well, there are 150 million dollars down the tube. That's what it cost the taxpayers to build that school.

    • @miguelbermudez5426

      maybe school districts and state level officials should hold everyone including students responsible for what they do. Revoke the diplomas and either (A) make them re-do it all over again or (B) make them do the GED so that they have the equivalent.

    What a waste of money! And of course none of the funds to build that school came from tax revenue generated in that area. Watch how quickly that beautiful campus turns into a sinkhole.

    This is happening in nearly every school in the country. Why? You cannot fail students anymore. This is especially true of black students!!! Administration officials and teachers who refuse to go along with this unwritten policy are labeled racist and their careers are ruined. We’re giving diplomas to kids who cannot read!!!! How is this helping them?

    • @miguelbermudez5426
      @miguelbermudez5426 6 років тому

      That is 100% true. Students can cheat or not even go to school and still pass because there is no integrity yet in Asia parents can be jailed for cheating for their kids.In South Korea, a politician's daughter did not go to school but 11 days between her final two years of HS. Her dad was found guilty of corruption and she was dis-enrolled from university, sent back to HS after having her HS classes invalidated, and she had to do the work all over again.If this country had the same integrity then I am sure that it would be a major deterrent as far as ppl getting jobs. Also make them ineligible for the GED if that happened.

    Just curious, how does that young black man presenting the piece feel about his hard work and dedication being undermined by actions like this? Is he resentful at all that these cases will cast a shadow of doubt on whether or not he has earned what he has achieved? What is his opinion on the soft bigotry of lowered expectations, and the tarnishing of the pride he should obviously feel for accomplishing what he has?

    Maybe 60 Minutes will do a story on this?
    I hope you're all laughing as hard as I am.

    • @frankiesayrelax100
      @frankiesayrelax100 7 років тому +1

      Doubt it. 60 Minutes will do repeated stories about a Winton Marsalis relative running a boys choir magnet school in Harlem (or a girls Jump-Rope Squad in the Bronx). But they'll never do a story about this.

    What was the final outcome of this? Were the people held accountable for this or was it all brushed under the rug?

    Traditional education doesn't seem to work with black kids. Why are we wasting our money?
