@@Type_RJR Hard to believe that Bobby is still due 11 more payments until 2035 by the Mets and 4 more payments until 2028 by the Orioles. When he gets his final check in 2035, he will be 72 years old. It will have been 36 years since he swung a bat for the Mets and 34 years since his professional playing career ended. When he receives that final check from the Mets, Ohtani will have already collected his second $68 Mil from the Dodgers.

Bobby Bonilla is the only person who can legitimately say he made money as a result of Bernie Madoff. Fred Wilpon, who co-owned the Mets at the time, gladly agree to it since he "earned" so much money from Madoff. In reality, Wilpon received money from Madoff that others offered Madoff so Wilpon had to pay Bonilla, and, his family and he also had to relinquish their fraudulent "earnings" from the scandal.
