A bunch of things: 1) You can use FM RDS to set UTC time if you don't want to use Wifi. 2) Have they fixed the Hi-Z issue? Sometimes when you turn that on the Max decoder II, it will start producing a stepping noise all over the band, you can mitigate this by turning Hi-Z and LNA off, then turn them back on again, and the stepping noise will be gone, until it's back. 3) Does the Bluetooth work properly now? Mine has a tendency to last for 10 seconds and then it vanishes. 4) The wifi has a tendency of being too strong for the built in LNA mode, so you'd want to turn that off in order for Wifi to connect properly, and sometimes it's best to be in FM mode for some reason to make Wifi connect faster, maybe that's because SW is using too much CPU power with the waterfall and all?. The decoder wheel feels cheap still on the Max II, is it better on the Pro + Air? The screen on Max II is sharp, but you need to look straight at it, because it's terrible at other angles, it becomes all white and reversed, have they improved on that? I wish they would go with a better display panel, it's good, but not great. And the resistive touch is a bit out of date since it does "mis" fire som presses and does need calibration from time to time. The Dinky On/Off button could be of better quality too, it's prone to wearing out fast. The Popping sounds when starting the unit (it makes 3-4 loud pops in the speaker) which is telling that it's outputting some max voltage spikes to the speaker, wich to me seems like a design flaw, have they fixed or improved that?
Hola, solo para saber como puedo conseguir el manual del radio ATS25 Pro+ AIR. Este tiene muchas mejoras y realmente complementa el modelo anterior, muy interesantes. Gracias@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones.
I just received this radio from Aliexpress. It turns on, but that's about it. Absolute garbage. Won't even bring in my local radio station that any radio i have in the house will bring in. Brutal.
I messaged hamgeek asking for Marine VHF to be added . They responded by saying the ATS PRO AIR already covers VHF Marine band . They then told me to basically get lost . Horrible , horrible attitude. If they added marine vhf (and sqaushed existing bugs) they would sell a lot more radios , due to the stylish appearance alone.
Thanks for the review this is going to be my Christmas presents to get me back into ham radio then will be the new yaesu qrp hf transceiver when it comes out next year just got to Break the wife in slowly this is the lady i asked before we got married when we were both in are late teens if she could spend the night with me little did she know back then in the early 80s she was stuck in a caravan with me in a middle of a field doings a night shift on a 24 hour contest and just thought if she can put up with that this has to be the girl i have to marry. Not sure hows shes going to feel now after over 40 years of marriage and me wanting another radio.
I'm very skeptical of stuff made in China. Most I send back for a refund or just throw it out. Inexpensive and poorly manufactured are words that seem to go together.
Thanks for this review, really appreciated and very helpful.
I have more to test thanks for watching.

Does the date and time on the device reset to zero when you turn off and on?
No
sadly it appears the 160 meter band is missing?
I will check thanks
it doesnt have NFM so the 2 meters is useless at the moment .. The original mods did included NFM so maybe next model !!
Such a shame .
