Surprisingly no comment, people says Stephen " Were new to the idea of gay people, and when Oscar Wilde life became public in newspapers people literally vomited on the streets", never knew that. Will have to see the movie to get a exact idea of the personality of Wilde. Thank you, Stephen Fry for such a interview and also the director to give us a movie.
I think I love Stephen Fry - this film made me go through so many emotions and I thank him for that.
There has never been, nor will there ever be, a better portrayal of Oscar Wilde than that enacted by Stephen Fry.
Peter Egan gave a better performance as Wilde in the 1978 miniseries Lillie. Fact.
Completely agree! Stephen Fry was born for that role. His performance is simply incredible!
