Finally a UA-cam tutorial that actually talked about proper spiccato technique and didn't confuse it with sautillé, like virtually all the others do. And from a fiddler!!!
Really enjoyed that .Loads of supporting details and well paced to make easy to follow. The spicatto bowing sound made me think of The Four Seasons by Vivaldi. I shall see if there is any in the manuscript.

Do you flex your fingers at all to increase the drag of the bow and get a leggiero feel and sound, or is this not done with the fingers?
Is this the technique used in He's a Pirate as well?
