Definitely the laws and politics but probably the biggest problem is demographics of Oakland. Before the Civil Rights Act 70 years ago single Mother households in the black community was 20%. Today after the Civil Rights Act and 70 years, 78% single Mother households. The Democrats made Government become the Dads in the black community. That is the elephant in the room!!
