We do the same brooder set up in the black tub. We cut a big rectangle on the top and zip tie hardware cloth to the lid so they can’t fly out and perch the sides! We also keep ours inside as well. If you find they are hopping out it works and it actually looks good!

That’s where we get our chicks!!!!!!!!! We got ours just over 3 weeks ago. We got a variety to try some different breeds… Olive Eggers, Ameracaunas, buff orpintons, barred rocks & then we replaced some ISA’s we lost to a fox attack this spring. 😥 Love our ISAs! ❤️
