I have bunches of Strings ang different brands, material's and gauges gustong gusto kong subukan kaso may doubt ako na baka habang pinakukuluan eh biglang sumabog sa pag kaka bilog yung string eh😂

That twangy metallic "new string" and dull "old" sound has nothing to do with the dirt accumulation, it's more on the strain on the string over a period of time. After removing my old strings I kept it coiled and just hung it on my wall. After a couple of years, I experimented putting back the old strings and it somehow magically sounds twangy like new even though the old string itself is dull colored.
This is a certified guitar string hack!!! 💯💯💯 Thank you for this, definitely it sounds better after it was boiled. ❤️

Hindi rin ako nagtatapon ng used strings kasi dito sa lugar namin (not sure kung meron din sa Pinas) merong string recycling program yung D’Addario kung saan pwede mong i-send sa kanila yung mga lumang strings (any brand) tapos makakatanggap ka ng points + $1 donation sa foundation every 0.25 lbs ng strings (approx. 6 sets). 7 sets palang meron ako kaya di ko muna sinesend. Pero susubukan ko to. Haha. Thanks!

Im using a set of fender string, so i decided to do this like what says at video 5 mins only then after i put my strings back yeah its kinda sound like new but after, 2 of my strings break off haha lol
sinubukan ko to kahapon pinakuluan ko for 10 mins then pinunasan ko tanggal yung mga dumi. di naman sya naging tunog bago pero mas naging malutong yung tunog mas okay na lalo na ngayun walang mabilhan ng strings.. thanks :)
