- And a game of RINGO.
The source video is cropped to avoid a strike but who knows if that will even work?
This entire watch-along will be posted on Patreon if you wanna watch it with me. There will be no video of the movie in this.

Absolutely loved this but I'm dying to know why Neil Peart wasn't in it with Rush. There has to be a reason. They might've made the documentary right when he died of brain cancer about two years ago.
Haha I knew there'd be Baker and Bonham! Also, nice comment on the burger flippers of the world, your heart is in the right place!
There was a funny comic from I think a Paste magazine I had when I was a kid. First panel says first drum set: and it’s basically just hi hats and a snare and a bass drum. Second panel says 2nd drum set: and it’s got a couple crashes now and a ride and a couple of toms. Third panel says 3rd drum set: and shows like a near Neil Peart level kit with double bass drums and cow bells and all the fun percussion fixins. Then the forth panel says, 4th drum set after lugging your third one around for a year: and it’s back to basics with bass drum, hi hats, snare, one Tom, one crash/ride lol
I am not a drummer but big music fan so loved this.
Haha this was a lot of fun. You should do more of these.
I've just watched it dude, it's awesome. If I didn't watch you I'd not watched this tonight so thanks dude... keep being awesome 👌
I will definitely be watching the full Patreon video along with the movie tonight. I haven't got to watch the movie yet.
Where's my man Mitch Mitchell
RIP Charlie
Two of my favorite drummers, Larry Mullen Jr. & Bill Burr weren't even mentioned, but it was still watchable. It's not easy to make something like this please everyone.
Duck Butter shirt sighting 🔥
Hey, dude! Loved the Gentlemen EP! Pigeons is 👍👍
@@garrettmillerdrums Thanks man! Keep up the rad vids!
Ringo-bingo. Great stuff.
Cried at the same part bud.
There is an awesome documentary on Sky arts, called 'The Art of Drumming'. Its a four part series, got some awesome drummers from past and present. It'd be smart if you could see it.
RINGO! I love it!
Watching this documentary showed how much of a drum nerd I am. I had "fuck yeah" moments with the drummers they talked about, and some "what the fuck" moments when they didn't mention others. It was a fun watch.
That’s the complaint I hear from many people. Neil can’t be in every documentary. Also it’s possible that considering he’s dead now that it was too much of a hassle for the film makers to get clearance from his family to include him in the documentary.
@@Assimilator702 I am a Neil fan, he's a major influence for me, but there are so many others, and it really didn't get into the modern era, especially with the "super" drummers out there. But that may have been a bit much for a casual viewer. It was a great documentary, it just made me wonder of they had gone episodic with it how much more they could have covered and done it as entertainingly as it was.
I found it pretty boring and standard Tbh, nothing I havent seen before and as others have said their was some criminal omissions along with not including the modern era of drumming at all
Based Garrett Miller showing love for workers, I love it
If you've got a micro fiber cloth definitely wipe the lense of your camera
That was good
React to Matt Garstka’s play through of Monomyth!
hahaha i laugh hard in some parts
Lars Ulrich? You might as well have put John McEnroe on your list.
It was a "fame" play 🤦♂️
Haha! Or, Boris Becker!!
Ulrich inspired a lot of drummers to start . . . then inspired a lot of drummers to be inspired by better drummers haha
@@TheCrumbleOne he takes a lot of shit. But, I totally agree with you. In my opinion Bob Rock, killed Metallica and Lars Ulrich. He really matured as a drummer on Master and to me really for it's time tipped the edge on And Justice. Somehow after reaching mega stardom he just quit giving a fuck and stopped trying then his drum sound started to sound like garbage cans and 5 gallon buckets. He was on top of his game 30+ yrs ago. Somewhere tho...fell off the tracks.
@@TheCrumbleOne Perfectly stated my friend. 👍🏼👌🏼
Kinda can't fuck with Ringo even though you kinda wanna.
No Bonham or Peart? Ok?
Bonham is in the film, but no Peart. I was SHOCKED there was no mention of Peart.
@@dbecker33 I commented before watching all the video. Still hadnt gotten to watch it all yet. I actually meant I couldn't believe Garrett didn't include their names in his Ringo game either.
@@peeholio3260 He did include Neil Peart...
@@Poopscipade my bad. I'll watch it again.
I already punched myself in the dick for no Bonham, so...😁
You should watch Thomas Lang play “Time”
This doco kinda underwhelmed me there is some criminal non-inclusions (peart Anyone?) Seems like they were only interested on featuring people willing to do interviews... it's not till the very end you actually get to hear some Legit drumming anyway otherwise it's just artists talking about their influences which we can watch anywhere else.. but whatever it is what it is, nothing I haven't seen or heard before
Love your channel though mate
move the video over dude
are there any good drumming documentaries? This one was boring and focused too much on "literally who?" female drummers
Worthless documentary. A drum doc that doesn’t mention Neil Peart tells you everything you need to know about it.
