Love the video! Great explanations. I wish you were in my area. DON’T throw those shoes away. A local welder would probably love them. Creative welders make all sorts of wonderful things. I have seen Christmas trees made from horse shoes and I have a wreath from my horses shoes before we went barefoot. I have it hanging year round in the barn.
Another great hoof trimming video. I’m sure the horse and its owners are super happy with that you found a solution to make em more comfortable. Hopefully will get an update in how its going in a future video.
Wow the difference between how he walked in the beginning and at the end was incredible! Ya'll really worked as a team to make him way more comfortable. Awesome video ^_^
Hmm, wondering if there’s a way to recycle the metal other than crafting… Glad to see glue on shoes - if there are blocks for cows (like what the Hoof GP uses), then glue on horse shoes should be similar technology.
I can take the shoes to the recycle center. Just thought people might have some crafty ideas! I love the Hoof GP. He is so fun to watch. I actually use the polyurethane glue he uses on some horses too. It’s a great time to be in hoof care! So many cool products available now to help animals!
I love my ShadowFax Nippers! Although the ones that I like are sort of a special order. They are 14 inches but have a smaller head and narrower reins than his racetrack model. They feel like 12 inch nippers in my hands but cut like 14’s if that makes sense 🤪. I have one video that shows a lot of the glueing process. I’ll post the link here. I am currently working on an in depth instructional course specifically using Easycares Versa line. ua-cam.com/video/26Lw5wejRoo/v-deo.html
Can I suggest the owner get a BTMM practitioner out for some nerve release and myofascial release bodywork on this horse? You may already know about this?

Thank you for your feedback and for watching! One of my clients husband is a welder. I give him my old rasps. Maybe he will want some horse shoes too?

Thank you! I hope he continues to improve! He may have some permanent damage but time will tell 🤞!
This video brought tears
to my eyes at the end. So grateful and blessed to have you as my farrier! ❤
You are so so kind 🙏🏻❤️❤️. I felt the same when I was watching him walk a week after wearing the shoes 🥺🥲. Warmed my heart!

Thank you so much! This has been a very rewarding case. I love it when we can make their hooves feel better quickly ❤️.
Well done.

Coffee mug tree
Great idea!
Do you typically use Shadowfax nippers?
And will you do a video on how you apply glue ons? 🙃

Do you have scrappers in your area? They collect metal to bring to metal recycling.
We do!

Thank you for watching and commenting! That’s a great suggestion! I wish we had one in our area.
