I was surprised to find there was no weight relief in the liners. Been curious if that's the standard of if i got a one off.

I agree. The MJ is brilliant. After a lot of UA-cam reviews of all shapes and sized of Spyderco I chose this as my 1st...and very happy. Mine drops closed very easily so not sure is there is some adjustment needed on yours? I will add that a big factor was that the returning blade does NOT interfere with your finger on the compression lock... Unlike the other small knives that I liked (Lil Native and Watu for example). Great review. Thanks.

Im not sure what the actual point of this knife is supposed to be, but ive used an Opinel garlic knife enough to know that it probably does everything better.
I just wish spyderco would stop making smaller and bigger versions of all their 15 year old designs and calling them new models, _and actually make new models._

It was made for carry in Cities like Chicago and Boston and for Federal Employees that must carry a 2.5 inch blade or less.
