I’m having this same problem on my 2014 Ford Fusion titanium, I thought the hard shifting was the motor mounts, thank you got posting this video and showing us step by step what to do.

Jackie I appreciate your comments, I hope this video helps you to get your car fixed, Regards. (However if you transmission shakes and jerks like in the video, motor mounts still could be the problem)

My 2013 1.6l ford fusion has all the symptoms you mentioned. Yet the code it reads is P0741 (Torque Converter Clutch solenoid circuit performance or off). Then suggests to replace valve body.
Will this fix help my car too?

    Good morning,
I left my Koleos 1 2.0 dci automatic gearbox this week at the garage to change the crankshaft seal on the flywheel side.
I picked up my car today, I did 50km on the motorway without any problem, it went through all the gears and was smooth, and when I got to town, my gearbox started having trouble shifting into first gear, then at one point it got stuck in 3rd gear. When I switched to manual, it remained in D. Finally, a message "regulator to check" appears.
By restarting the car, it's ok for a few minutes then it starts again.
I went back to the garage, we did a diagnosis and when we accelerate, the turbine speed is at 0 when we accelerate, and this blocks the gear change, we have to restart the car.
    Here are the diagnostic errors:
    - P01717: turbine speed sensor circuit (active)
    - P1525: consistency of multiplexed information for cruise control, the information is not compliant (active)
    - P074491: torque converter clutch ev function, converter lockout control (memory).
Do you know where this could come from please?

Hey! I got the same symptoms that you have described in your video, and I also have the P0715 code. The dealer does not sell the wiring harness that you have worked on separately, instead they sell a whole bunch of wiring harness as a bundle. I am thinking of replacing only the connector just like you did. Could you please send me the name of the part that you bought?

Hey, sure thing, here you go: Ford Fusion Vehicle / Output Speed Sensor Connector, I will regiment unplug your harness take a photo and be sure the one you will buy looks the same. Good luck and have a nice day.

      Did you get yours fixed?

Hi! It turns out that my connector was not damaged like yours, so I decided to change the sensor. Unfortunately, changing the sensor did not fix the problem for me. I took it to a mechanic, and the mechanic mentioned that I was getting a persistent P0717 code. The mechanic is suggesting replacing ‘some sensors’ inside the gearbox behind the body value. I am still facing this issue, and I am not sure what to do in this case.

Could you share the part number for the connector, or a link to where you purchased it? I'm having trouble finding one. Thanks!

Hello, I bought it on eBay under the name “vehicle / output speed sensor”, unfortunately I don’t recall the link I used but just searching the name I just wrote and using the car configuration tool on eBay you must be able to find it. I hope this helps.

My car is doing exactly the same thing, I have already replaced that speed sensor but I will be taking the car apart again to check out all the wiring. Fingers crossed
    What connector did you use?

Would be great if you can comment if you find something similar to the issue explained in the video, I bought a random connector I found online for 20 dollars (Output Speed Sensor Connector)

@@TheNomadMechanic I will say thank you for this video. My wire didn't pop out like this but one of them was severed. I will be attempting to fix it while the new one is on order thank you.
