I love that you guys show all the guys working on cars, and show fun stuff they do like stupid dancing, but also the bad days, cause ey, they are just part of working life as well! You guys show the business, not just the detailing! I think that's important as well, especially for folks looking to get into detailing.
I was thinking the same thing @Jaap. I detail every day and there are times you are mentally worn down from having to concentrate / stay in the zone. I can only imagine the stress of doing a 918 like this. Kudos to all involved, and the passion really shows through from everyone at Chicago Auto Pros.
The Elegance and Sophistication of The Color White has NO Rival for Me at Least. Just look at This Supreme Majestic Machine. Super, Duper Job Guys.... Primo Estupendo!!!! Great Stuff Jason. Love All Your Videos. 👍
The amount of effort that goes into making an already beautiful automobile even more beautiful is astounding! Especially the little details like the polishing in between the spokes of the rims. Excellent work!
It’s great to see people enjoying work but also doing a great job. And it’s so cool to think about how cars can get everyone excited. The owner is likely not gonna get behind the brakes or into the wheels to see the carbon finishes-but with the way everyone was working on it, they get to experience the car and see the crazy engineering behind it. Carbon fiber wheel wells? Awesome
I actually prefer the interior for showing off the final results of your hard work, as opposed to your usual outside shots. It would be awesome if ya'll had something like a showroom area just for staging a clean car and taking pictures of it. It would look like an international car show! Regardless, glad to see that you enjoy stepping up to the challenge of taking care of a rare car. Great work all around!
I really wish I had the money right now to have you guys work some magic on my hellcat. I want PPF and to have it ceramic coated again. I'm just in VA and I just can't afford all that
Like watching poetry in motion. Great video. When they called you for this job, and you asked what color the vehicle was...how relieved were you to hear it was white and not black? :-) Out of curiosity, what were you spraying on the carbon fiber and why?
Awesome job guys. Trying to find that Rupes cable polisher online you polished the wheels with but can't find it so if anyone knows please let me know.
AMAZING CONTENT! bro how do you detail a ceiling/head liner? I just got white spot (small white spots), uneven color tone, saturated parts of the head liner by using a APC. In need of help badly huhu
Right. Do these kids even know what they’re doing? You decontaminate, compound if needed, polish and the. Seal. Then film. Also the kids running the buffers were just carelessly slinging it all over the place and moving the pad way too fast over the paint. What does that accomplish? They should have had Ammo do this car. Just sayin.
We decontaminate and polish the area that's getting PPF first, then apply the PPF, then polish the rest of the vehicle after since they spray liquid on the paint to apply the film, and so that way we insure no swirls are left behind after the film installers to achieve the best finish we can
What an amazing job and also what an entertaining video, congratulations! just curious, why does one polish after applying PPF? Would have thought that the polishing would be done first, and then the PPF applied as the absolute final layer.
@@ChicagoAutoPros well done!! I admire you! Im in greece doing some detailing on the side for some extra cash...out of no where is about to become a business, from people that share their experience, and now with this virus, you just dont know what to do!! You guys are very good!
The coating brand likely didn't influence that decision. Many coating installers prefer them because they're pliable and can easily reach any area with paint (think behind door handles). Manufacturers also created different versions of them with an inner liner to help reduce how much of the coating gets absorbed into the foam to reduce product waste.
@@homaspa-cardetailing8471 Per Modesta's installer reference Step 6 "The applicator you will use should be wet, but not running. Soak it in pure water before you apply the product on it. Use a plastic pipette to take the coating out of the bottle and apply it to the applicator. Do not let the moisture in the applicator get into the bottle." Step 9 "The cloth should be wet but not sodden or running. Wipe with another dry microfiber until smooth and shiny. Pay great attention to remove all excess in the wet wipe. Once dried you will not be able to remove those anymore."
I think they did the paint correct + ppf on the front first, then moved on to paint correct the sides/doors. I mean, its hours of work condensed into a 20min vid, so I'm sure we didn't see evey detail and step in order.
I don't know if it's just the editing or what but I just didn't find it very professional. Alot of polishing with the same size pad, alot of moving of the vehicle. Car parked close to other cars. Trip hazards everywhere. Unorganised shelves with stuff falling off. Main doors left open with outside contaminants able to come in. Obviously result looks good but I just feel for that level of car I'd want faultless.
3:07 Yup, I'd totally buy a Veyron from some Persian in a friggin' t-shirt, hooded windbreaker and ill-fitting baseball hat. Least professional look ever.

Thank you very much!
This is hands down one of the most beatiful cars ever made. Truly a work of art. Fantastic job guys!
my new favorite Porsche
Lovin the new reality tv show style videography!
My dream car . I detail a lot of Porsche but this sir is one I haven’t yet
Crazy car :O, and the music was well thought out as well!
The rims Jason! That’s a whole other level!
Amazing job as always, the 918 is a super special car. Great to see an awesome shop be matched up with a vehicle of that caliber.
This looks like such a good crew and they represent the company well, professionals!

Great work! Chicago Motor Cars is fantastic too!
Just subscribed to this 3 days ago and I love the content I detail myself and already learned alot
B-Roll looks great! And love how it looks like a team effort from everyone in the shop. Oscar is awesome.
Amazing car, even more amazing work
thank you!
Not a Porsche fan. But I love a 918. So amazing. Epic detail too gents. Well done.
thank you!
Estupendo video y saludos desde España. 👌

We would love to... Maybe once the @carsupplieswarehouse guys move out we can do something like that..
Amazing work. Can't wait to start learning how to do PPF
That 918 Spyder came out amazing! I loved seeing all the steps that went into such an amazing detail! Great video!🐟
Thank you!
What micro rotary polisher do you guys use?

I think that was the ceramic coat which they then took to the clean room to cure with the heating lamps
Now that’s a spicy VW!
Love you guys! :)
Awesome u guys
Jason coming in clutch
Amazing Car !!! Would like to have it in the Shop , too
Greetings from Germany
You make a lot of noises getting in and out of the car. 10/10 can relate!

What kind of light did he use to inspect for scratches ?
Awesome work. I just can’t believe that you use a razor knife to trim the film on a 2 million dollar car 😮
Cool detail!!!!!!!!
👍💪👍
I'd be more than a little nervous with a 2 million dollar car.
Your starting from scratch. What brand of detail products do you recommend? Best website to find everything at once?
Can i ask why you did the paint correction after the ppf? Doesn't the hood need paint correction done to as well?

awesome!!! one q...why would you not take the wheels off and do a proper bro?
That's awesome. Curious why you said the hood was difficult? From the outside looking in, that looks relatively easy
It's a big clam shell type hood, which they are typically harder than your normal flat hood.
the glue remover is metho? how did it take you 4 hours?
What an amazing job and also what an entertaining video, congratulations!
just curious, why does one polish after applying PPF? Would have thought that the polishing would be done first, and then the PPF applied as the absolute final layer.
From what they polished just the parts for ppf and then did the rest after ppf applied (thus also the blue tape lines)
What was your product choice of adhesive removal?
What’s the mini polisher you used on the wheels?
looks freaking MINT!!
How many miles on the odometer? Btw awesome video!
Wheele polish well worth effort 👍
What was the air brush solution before ceramic coating?
the air brush was a ceramic coating! Modesta BC-06 high-temp coating

3 day’s of work with multiple people on the car at the same time. If I had to guess somewhere around 60 hours.
