      stupid garage queen shame on the owner.
      I mean ok if you say "I want to preserve it" you could still say "only 2000miles per year" or sth like that, but 500miles is just an insult to this car. at least USE it A BIT, and dont KILL it in a garage

      @John Nicholas Good estimate. I mean 130 hours, probably around 60 to 80 dollars (If not more) an hour given that it's two guys. So 8 to 10 grand is a conservative estimate. Given that it's a ~200k car, it seems pretty alright. Especially if you protect it properly afterwards since it's (unfortunately) not really a daily or even a weekend car at that point anymore and more a rolling investment.

      @BuckMcAntlerson 5 років тому +2

      I absolutely buy it's 500 miles. The really rare and expensive ones are hard to get on allocation from dealers so once someone gets one it often becomes a garage queen.
      Don't get me wrong, 500 is an incredibly low number but it's not unheard of for a 10 year old car to only have a few thousand miles on it.

    • @R2D2trashcan
      @R2D2trashcan 5 років тому +10

      @@BuckMcAntlerson the point we are making is not that it is impossible for a car of that age to have such low miles, the point is that the condition of the car suggests it has done more miles and has spent more time outside than the miles would suggest. Someone who keeps a car at 500 miles doesn't leave it outside and if that's the case how did the under body get so completely filthy? its not a 500 mile car and the below post confirms it.
