I have always been fascinated by blimps. It was interesting to learn about their importance. Never knew they carried bombs and machine guns. Keep it coming and thanks for sharing your travel and research.
Continuing to share some of the most interesting things on the Internet. I was curious about a battle with The enemy, but you answered it with your description of the bled in the Florida Straights in 1943????? That must’ve been an interesting day and unfortunate for one US soldier. Keep up the great work. I am sharing on my Tripp Arnold personal page.
Thank you for taking me along to see another incredible structure and sharing the interesting history of blimps ( not just for beach advertising). I never tire of the unique places you visit.
Wow, that is some fascinating structural engineering. I’m a retired civil engineer; earned my P.E. License in the late 80s designing formwork and a wide variety of shoring, brackets, etc. it was structural engineering, and the materials were timber/lumber and steel. I still recall designing some really complicated wooden structures. That makes this even more fascinating,
I wish I could really portray how big it was when standing inside it. It's impressive to say the least. And the fact that they were built in around 30 days is crazy.
@@MasonObscura i’m sure it’s quite impressive, in person. I believe you said it was 190’ high; not sure if that is inside clearance or top of roof, but either way, that’s roughly the height of a 19 story building!
You should have seen the twin behemoths. They made me gape, literal jaw drop when i saw them in the 70's. Thank you for the tour and all the facts and figures. Now my amazement has meat!! 🖖

Another great video! Will be sad if the historic hangar gets demolished.
I used to live on the Tustin Marine helicopter base. I was 21 & married to a young Marine. My 27 yo son was born there.
Love the content. Keep it up !
Love your channel! Pure content, no BS like MSM documentaries.
