We do like that museum as well..we’ve been there a couple of times. We took my 82 yrs old dad and he absolutely loved it. The cafeteria/restaurant was closed at the time of recording. Thanks for watching our video.
If you want a really cool aviation museum, check out the evergreen aviation museum in McMinnville. Then go swimming at the only indoor water park with a Boeing 747 on the roof, next door.
Thank you for your service. My wife and I really enjoy the history of the hangers. It was amazing and mesmerizing, even my father in law who doesn’t really speak too much English enjoy the museum very much. So so much history in the museum. God bless you.
The interesting aspect of the Tillamook Air Museum is the number of training devices (as designated by Naval Education and Training Command). These are rare items and yet probably trained many pilots and aircrew. Nice work to all personnel who worked to make your museum the work of art that it is.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We also were amazed with all the work our military did and continue doing ..we learned a lot in this museum. It was nice talking to volunteer veterans and listening to their stories ..
Unfortunately, there is one (1) less of the old blimp hangers left now, since Hanger 1 has burned down at MCAS Tustin, CA. I spent the bulk of my Marine Corps career stationed there and I will miss her.
Thank you. Interesting museum.
Thank you ..
One of my favorite aviation museums. The food is really good too

I didn’t know about that hanger. That’s just too bad…hopefully the rest will remain here for a long time. These buildings are just too valuable .
