Question: what is the process like for secondhand car buying? I’m wondering why the guy you bought the car from would rather have his car back instead of figuring out how to get the paperwork done?
It's a bit of a tricky situation. Because I'd have to register the car in a different province the current owner would need to submit the correct documents in his province first. It turned out that the guy who sold me the vehicle wasn't the current owner and after three months of trying to find the owner I'd had enough. The landy was basically confined to the farm, and that's not what I wanted. So I informed them that I was returning the vehicle and expecting a full refund.Thankfully they complied.
