Been following Zai since he was winning his first tournaments back in the HoN days. I sincerely hope that the time off does him good, and that he considers coming back later on. I would love to see him claim the aegis at least once before its all said and done. He will always be one of the greatest in my book. Best of luck to him! :)

his instincts and skills are second to none.
For me, Zai has been always nice to see how he plays. From 4-3pos. In Liquid era he really carried most of the games in my opinion. He had such huge role to fill after TI11. So no wonder if he feels that he has to make a brake. Im sure after the TI shuffle, he is one of the most wanted players to get in team. But, since he said he is having a "brake", we don't know how long. I still hope to see him play soon! Wish the best rest of the liquid squad as well! Been huge fan of Nisha since joining Secret!
It's not fair to say that Zai carries Liquid most games. Boxi, nisha and even insania contributions are massive. Even micke shines here and there. For me, if we are Ranking Liquid players run contributions it would be:
1. Boxi
2. Zai/Nisha
3. Insania
4. Micke
Learn the difference between brake and break. People won't take you seriously.
@@cthulhuworshipper6361 it hurts but Nisha underperformed vs GG. Micke & Zai carried the game and everyone blames Micke when they lose Im a fan of TL but Nisha throws like hell and it hurts to watch his throws plays!!
He's just 26 yo. Can understand why he's taking a break, but some RETIRING before even completing 30 yo like Matumbaman did is nuts. Not even real sports players retire that early.

The Secret roster with Puppey, Nisha, Matum, Zai & Yapzor would win an aegis if there was a TI in 2020. They were top 3 in 2021, eliminated by Team Spirit (broken & crazy Magnus by Collapse).
Zai is a great player, he always playing sacrificed offlane role to make pos 1, 2 shine. It is crazy how he manage to get into top 3 of TI for 4th time (2 with EG, 1 with Secret & 1 with Liquid) just show how consistency he is for the last 10 years
They would definetly be main favorites by far, but remember - it's TI, so you can never be 100% sure.
I've watched professional scene since 2013. And there have been a lot of examples when the main favorite team loses. Secret themselves in 2015, OG in 2016, VP in 2018, LGD in 2021...

Хоть он мало разговаривал, чату это не мешало веселится + тиммейты в войсе доты давали жару + годная музыка. Жаль, что нельзя вернуться в прошлое, чтобы хоть еще на один такой стрим попасть. Спасибо тебе, Людвиг, ты был мне как брат, хоть и не знал этого. Так же хочу сказать спасибо админам паблика Zai's fan page вконтакте, огромное вам спасибо за ваш труд на протяжении стольких лет, спасибо за музыку со стримов (я сам тоже помню на целый плейлист зашазамил). Цветите и улыбайтесь, друзья. Буду помнить Зая до конца своих дней :)
Zai is one of the best offlaners in the world in my opinion, it really is a shame that he hasn't won a Ti yet because he really does deserve one before he ends his career, and the fact that he is saying that this could be his final Ti that he will play in is really disheartening

Zai played so well G1 and G2 and all thru out TI. G3 they should've prioritized his lane and pick.
A generation of pros we all grew up with is coming to an end. It's sad to see but Dota Esports has reached its peak 2 years ago anyway and im glad that Valve now focuses on the game itself and more regular gameplay updates so we can at least still enjoy the game.

Yatoros country was getting destroyed by russia yet he still comes and plays the best fights with his carry, makes no mistakes.

I'd cheer any war-torn country participant in ti more than white privileged people. Dota community is actually quite racist. It cheers for white players even though they're not the best. It cheers for topson as if he was going to do something this ti. It cheers for other midlanders way more than paparazzi who beat everyone at mid 1v1. And frequent to express racist comments.
So no... The generation is only changing with Chinese teams and war torn country teams in the ti.
Puppey Kuro and dendi are still playing, If notail thought he could beat spirit he would try to get some million dollars in Riyadh and afterwards.

@@intazario People cheer for who they can connect with, it's as simple as that. If you only speak english it will be much harder to connect with Chinese\Russian players since there is so much less content of theirs you can connect with and appreciate. The same as how Chinese cheer for Chinese players, that doesn't make them racist, that makes them human with emotional connection. People definitely give props and celebrate great players/teams regardless of region but when it comes to favorites it will likely be from the underlying emotional connection just like it is with friends. Does it make Chinese people racist when they don't cheer for OG at TI when they played vs LGD? No, it means they have favorites which are people they connect with more closely. Lumping together what you consider "white privileged people" as people not worthy of cheering for is only contributing to the problem with the community being racist lol. Is it really surprising people would cheer for someone like Topson after how he came into the scene and the whole OG story? It's basically every players dream to have a situation like that happen to themselves.

It's really too bad his too conservative playstyle cost some important games this TI(i'm talking about Tide ults, or rather lack of them) but Zai will forever be the legend on Dota's mt.Olympus together with people like Puppey, Xiao8, N0tail, Matu and others
