      @azspeedster5465 you're welcome. Currently I'm in the Philippines! I just posted a video of the old market in siem reap. I've been posting videos of Siem Reap area attractions and I have enough material to post for a few weeks more! Take care. Cheers!

    This is a great feedback to what to expect when arriving to Siem Reap. Thanks you so much, very helpful. I was wondering if you can provide some information about where to change money, did you buy a SIM card, and how did you move around once you where in Siem Reap to see the temples, what is the cost. Or what do you recommend, Thanks

    • @lifeinthematrix9
      @lifeinthematrix9  10 днів тому

      Since the US dollar is widely used for all purchases everywhere, I didn't have to change money. In some of the episodes that I posted, I have mentioned the pricing and mentioned the wide use or USD. Many times, you pay with USD and get the change back in a combination of dollars and Riels! Even the tuk tuk guys charge in the US or equivalent, which is roughly 4000 riels to a dollar. One can negotiate the pricing when taking the tuk tuk or at the local markets. I've covered a lot of that in my previous episodes. I didn't buy a sim card and didn't need to. All the restaurants at Pub Street have free wifi, and I've used that. Same in the hotel. As for travelling around to the temples, you can choose a car with a driver guide or just hire a cab for the day. I have a friend there who organised the best car and driver while I set the plan on the day's itinerary. If you'd like, I can recommend the person, and you can directly deal with him.

      @tibisayescalona3271 contact Mr. Cheng and say Anup from Singapore said to call him. Ask for car and driver called Titan (he appears in the floating village episode of my vlog). He's really good and communicative and very helpful. In case you don't get Cheng, let me know and I'll put you in touch with Titan. Both good guys. Cheng's number (he's also on WhatsApp): +855 12 390 466

      All the immigration lanes were open and I was among the first to have everything in hand. It took a super short time and I was out the door and into the bus as it was about to leave. The next bus was an hour or so later. Lucked out!

      It is well.worth a visit. I have many videos to upload. A lot of them are about the archaeological sites, and there's some local experiences as well around Siem Reap town itself.
