Приєднався 25 лип 2022
Welcome to my channel! I post about wildlife, travel, flying as a seaplane pilot, and as a passenger on other aircraft and lots of adventures!
I have been traveling around the World for 30 years, a lot of it during the pre-internet era and most of the old photos and rare videos are either scattered somewhere or lost, it is all in my head though, until I lose all that memory! In the post internet era, and before microblogging like Twitter, I did write about my travel experiences and uploaded photos and low definition videos on that blog, link below
A friend told me recently that I should do more vlogging and use UA-cam for the same, and so I have created this channel here. I hope you will enjoy my videos as much as I do in making them! Thank you for your viewership and kind support!

You're very welcome! I've been posting videos from Cambodia and I hope you find them useful. If you're going on a trip there, I hope you have a great time. I did! Thanks for watching and liking my video.
This is the cutest!
I saw them do this after breakfast even today. It's a family bonding thing for them!

Very informative and great travel video of the market and surrounding area.
I'm glad you liked it! Thanks!
Thank you for your informative travel video. I will be traveling to Cambodia soon and this video was helpful in viewing the process for my travel to Siem Reap.
Thanks for watching! If there's any further information you'd like, please ask and I'll inform you if I know about it. Have a good trip to Siem Reap. I loved it!
@@lifeinthematrix9 Thank you very much. Safe travels to you as well.
@azspeedster5465 you're welcome. Currently I'm in the Philippines! I just posted a video of the old market in siem reap. I've been posting videos of Siem Reap area attractions and I have enough material to post for a few weeks more! Take care. Cheers!
@@lifeinthematrix9 Thank you for your reply. I will look at that video. I have been following other vloggers in Cambodia for travel tips and recommendations. I added on to your subscribers list. Take care and safe travels in the Philippines.
@@azspeedster5465 Thank you!

Wow. Thank you for sharing🙂
You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it!
Thank you for your video. It’s very helpful. May I ask you about Macau currency. Is 1000 MOP much in Macau. I just travel there 4 days and need money for transportation, lunch and dinner. Does 7-eleven in Macau accept international credit visa card? I want to buy Macau pass there. Hope that you will answer me soon. Thank you!
You're welcome! 8 MOP is 1 USD so it depends on your budget for meals. Meals are not hugely expensive. As for transportation, a travel pass makes sense if you are going to use the bus system all the time. If you're only going to use it infrequently, then just pay cash at the bus entrance. I have posted a video about using bus and also the MRT light rail system in my series and I hope you watch those videos that may help you even better. There are many places you can buy a travel pass and you may find that info online if that outlet accepts credit card or not. I used the bus only 2 times in 4 days. One was to go to Coloane (I posted a video of that too) and one was to the Ah Ma temple and maritime museum next to it. So I didn't buy the travel pass because I would never finish using the minimum stored value of 100 MOP. I stayed close to all the attractions and it was an easy walk everywhere. So depending on where you're staying, it may make sense to buy a pass for 130MOP of which 30MOP is service charge. Please watch all.my macau videos that may help you better. If you still have any questions, please feel free to ask me and I will respond. Thanks and have a great trip!
@@lifeinthematrix9 Thank you for your advise of Macau Pass. I may possibly use the bus to go to Coloane, Ah Ma temple and to Studio city where I attend 2 concert nights. So I may use the bus at least 8 times. The other places is near my hotel so I can walk on foot. The problem with cash is there is no return money on the bus. I have some more questions: - Are the bus annoucements made in English too? I don't speak Chinese so I'm worry that I will not recognize the drop off. - Is the MRT light rail all around Macau? - Does the ATMs accept all kind of visa and master cards to withdraw money?
@SamSam-hv2le @SamSam-hv2le you're welcome. Yes as you can see from the video I posted about the bus going to Coloane and back, the announcements are made in English and Chinese and there are displays in the bus that show the name of the stop and the next stop. The MRT line is just one and doesn't cover all of Macau. Please watch the episode on the MRT I posted for more info. Thanks. I almost forgot about your ATM question! I've been able to use my cards at different locations and withdraw money without problems. I'm sure you know this, but make sure your card has been enabled to be used overseas. Just a tip!
@@lifeinthematrix9 Thanks for your reply. I still have one more question. Do you know anything about taxes refund in Macau?
@SamSam-hv2le there is no value added tax or GST in Macau. I'm not sure what tax you're asking about. There aren't import duties either in Macau.
What a beautiful historical location. Really curious to go to Cambodia.
You'd love it for a combination of things, including food. They also eat insects, like crickets, a throwback from the khmer rouge days when they had nothing else to eat, and they've got a cuisine around it. Similar to Thai and Vietnam doing the same! There's more to their culture, food, and music than I can show. I would recommend a visit to Cambodia for sure!
You are not an ASEAN citizen 🤔
In 10mins you finished immigration? Just wow!
❤ I am waiting for your next videos! Hope I can visit Cambodia someday
Indeed, I am not. Resident only!
All the immigration lanes were open and I was among the first to have everything in hand. It took a super short time and I was out the door and into the bus as it was about to leave. The next bus was an hour or so later. Lucked out!
It is well.worth a visit. I have many videos to upload. A lot of them are about the archaeological sites, and there's some local experiences as well around Siem Reap town itself.
I am now super excited for the next set of videos ❤
The next one will be Bayon temple and Angkor Thom area. I will try and upload it on Friday! Thanks for your viewing and support. Every like and comment helps!
Interesting and informative. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
This was really cool! Can't wait for the Next Videos! I've always wanted to see this in person.
Thank you for watching! The next one will have the famous Bayon temple area of Angkor Thom. I have shot so many videos that I'd have to upload them twice a week! I hope you'll enjoy those, too.
It’s all beautiful. I loved it
Nature always takes over.
True!
Thanks for the review. I visited Siem Reap about six months back. This video sums up all important points.
Youre welcome! It's raining here every day so my travel plans is going to be more leisurely. Thanks for watching and for your comment. I hope you enjoyed visiting Siem Reap on your trip!
Another factor for Delays is the congestion here in Manila, leading to delayed departure, your aircraft leaving Manila arrived late because it may have been delayed on its outbound leg
Yes, quite possibly. It was ok for me and the rest of the passengers. It wasn't so bad. All in all, it was a good experience, and I'll definitely fly them again in the future. I would rate CebuPacific better than some of the other budget carriers in overall experience.
@@lifeinthematrix9 Yes, It's a blessing Asian LCC's are not as bare as American/European LCC's where you pay to bring a carry on bag. (Small Item is free)
@AirTravel415 in the US my usual airline is Delta. I've got tons of points on them. I rarely fly spirit that charges for everything. I've been on Southwest a few times and Frontier. Not too bad. I've never flown Ryanair or easyjet in Europe and almost every time it's either a legacy carrier or the private aircraft I flew in the past as a pilot. Asian LCCs are much better, I'd say Asian carrier in general are better.
Been here... the video took me down the memory lane!
This was my third visit, and I had blogged about those on the mysore blog park! Thanks for watching and subscribing! All the best with your debut book "Miniaturised Travel Stories" and I will recommend my book club friends to read it also. Later this month, I'm going on a week-long trip to Siem Reap after a gap of 15 years. I had blogged about all those places also in the past. I'll surely be shooting and posting videos on this visit.
Do you know how much it costs to get a pilot license in there?
It's fairly expensive at this location. They charge P880,000 for a 70 hours course to get a single engine land private pilot license. I think the schools at Clark and Lingayen airports are cheaper. I can find out if you wish. Let me know! Thanks for watching and liking. 😊🙏🏼

Absolutely! I love hanging out at the club with my fellow aviator friends. Thanks for watching!
Will this work with golden millet, too? What does it taste like in comparison to popped corn?
Good question! I haven't tried this with golden millet. We only grow Sorghum, barnyard millets, brown top millet, proso and Finger millet. We did grow a small batch of foxtail millet on an experimental basis. We only popped the Sorghum and it is similar to corn in taste but smaller kernels.

Thats a nice implement to plant coconut trees. Dad would have bought it for sure. He loved planting coconut trees, even bringing fully grown trees from someone else’s garden . My Uncle had grown a variety from the Philippines, a dwarf variety which gave a bumper crop every year.
That's nice to know, about your dad planting coconut trees. You know, I planted 6 coconut trees at the farm and one of them is the dwarf variety here that you mentioned. Those are native to this area! It'll be a few years before I see them bear fruit but It'll be great! Thanks for sharing your Dad's story.
Something very interesting and calming about your videos ❤
Beautiful system… so with one card you can use buses and metro? That’s really neat!
Thank you! I'm glad you think so 😊
Yes, with one card you can access bus, train, LRT system that exist in 3 areas of Singapore and also use it in vending machines to buy snacks or drinks. Payment for all these can also be done using your credit/debit cards or through your phone or watch through providers.
@@lifeinthematrix9 that is a such an awesome system! Wish we had such systems here as well…
Decathlon has tracking boots that might be very helpful for you. The higher end models have up to 7hrs water resistance as well. I can verify that they are good for such terrain 👍🏿
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll certainly look it up. One of us has the all-weather boots bought at a local agro store nearby. I'll certainly have better gear next wet season. The next planting season is in October when the dry season starts and lasts until July of the next year.
mouth watering!
Yum!

Aah I miss it! When I was there Circle line was still happening. I think the Downtown line wasn't ready either, but I got to see the guts and glory of the construction up close - as I worked near Raffles Place. I used to take the purple line; very useful!
This is Vidya; I guess you know that haha.
The purple line was new to Punggol when I moved there and used to terminate at sengkang before that and now punggol line is expanding to punggol.point near the beach! The LRT is also open fully. So many new things happen in SG in a relatively short time doesn't it?
