Hi Andy!!! Congrats on your new acquisition!!! I am a fan of Lexus. I have owned a 2003, 2007, and 2013 GS350. Unfortunately, Lexus discontinued the GS line, so I left the Lexus family. Thr LS is too big, and the IS is a little small for me. I don't like the front drive cars for an everyday driver.
The Lexus dealer used to repair my wheels whenever I got roadrash on them. I had a warranty for them. They looked great after they fixed it.
As far as the actuator, I remember paying close to $800 for one, but when my 2013 needed one, they just repaired them at a fraction of the cost of a new one.
I like the IS model, which I would get as a loaner vehicle at times. Very good gas mileage with plenty of power. Enjoy your new vehicle!!!
    Be SAFE and stay HEALTHY!!!

You can get the road rash repaired and wheel refinished for not too much money. Check with some car dealers and they can tell you what day the wheel man comes by and you can get them repaired. • @gearrunner

I don’t, but I also own a Mustang GT and a Corvette on days I want power. This is just my daily and it has plenty for me. I was going up a very large incline the other day with the cruise set on 60mph and it never down shifted. And I get somewhere around 35-37 mpg on the Hwy.

The "leather" looks brand new because its not leather at all😂😂 It's what Lexus calls "Nu-luxe" or something like that, same as V-tex used by VW, MB-tex used by Mercedes and on and on. It comes from an Italian company and is admittedly is pretty good.
