@@exotic_trichomes710luciel2 tom involvement and vision in musical writing is more useful, I admit CJ scream is slightly better than tom, but tom give his own character of scream, and tom vision in music is more creative than CJ, the lyrics, the melody scream, false chord and growl, overall tom is a better musician than CJ, like far away better, look chelsea grin and PARTICULARLY DARKO US, CJ is a great metal vocalist, but he never ever be in tom tier as an artist and musician, CJ is a no brainer vocalist with gifted voice

I can't watch the video seriously after seeing that
It's crazy to see how far these guy's have come. This video dropped in 2015...it now has 171k views..."Immortal" is almost at that same amount of views and it only dropped 3 day's ago. New fans of Lorna are missing out on the gems they dropped in Psalms, Maleficium, and Flesh Coffin...I still listen to all of their older material on the reg. It's sad to see Tom and Conor gone but CJ and their new guitarist fit this style to a T.

I never heard of the band until I seen Charasmatic Voice anazlye Will Ramos when he joined the band. So my first taste of Lorna Shore was a reaction video to Into the Hellfire. Then i watched more on Will Ramos. I am truly amazed by his voice. But finally I came to hear the old musicians voice, read why he was booted etc.. but this is the first time hearing the old singer. But honestly the voice is the same type. While Will Ramos takes the voice to the next level, this guy here does a wonderful job also with the voice. I wont compare the two, saying one is better than another, thats subjective to each person. What I do like is the intensity and admire the art of the voice from both singers.
All Lorna's eras are good, just the two first EP that doesn't convince me that much, but from "Maleficium" to "Flesh Coffin" it's just so good. Immortal and Pain Remains are also incredible works, I love this band so much independently of the lead singer or rest band members, the idea and sound it's just awesome.

If you have any sort of knowledge when it comes to black metal, I don't need to explain. You hear it in the synths, ghostly atmosphere in the beginning, fast blast beets with black chords and sweeps, as well as toms depressive torturous highs with poor sounding recording quality on the first scream which is intentionally black. Go check out ghoulchapel and dark funeral. You'll get it. Cheers my fellow metal brethren 👅

Sweeps aren’t heard in black metal but other then that you’re right about what we hear in this song that has a black metal influenced sound to it, and LS pulls it off well to make it sound cohesive and original enough to hear more of their music in which they’re only getting better at it. Easily one of the best metal bands in the scene right now IMO

To all whom I see arguing about wether this is indeed blackened or black metal influenced. It is. Not only are tom and Adam influenced by cof and behemoth. But this track along with godmaker has physical parts of the song that are blackened, not just dark. No, they're not full black metal, but they are blackened deathcore. I've been a black metal and deathcore fan for years, and not just the poser bands. I'm talkin Lorelei, ovids, into infernus, all shall perish, as blood runs black, old Carnifex, depths, a night in Texas etc. and real black metal; tsjuder, Immortal, emperor, darkthrone, 1994 behemoth, 1349, springtime depression, wolves in the throne room, ghost bath, obsequiae, venom, carach Angren etc etc.
